A return to the craft: I have been caring time for a very small and intentional shop drop this December.
No big marketing campaigns, no incessant posting among the Black Friday craze.

I've got a few hand made pieces that I will be quietly adding to the website in the upcoming weeks.
Each one of a kind with no promise of another shop drop anytime soon.

Tools of the trade
After 2 years of uncertainty about my future in this trade, I'm happy to say leathercraft has slowly returned to its initial purpose in my life: a creative outlet; a satisfying way to spend quiet hours, alone with my thoughts.
No revenue, no pressure, no deadlines, no rush 🧡
I'm grateful our coffee shop is doing so well, and enables us to pursue creative projects without the push to generate an income out of them 🙌

Studio life update: it's been a string of photo shoots this summer, and seems like it will carry on like that into late autumn.
I had all intention to prepare another shop drop with vintage & antique homewares & some last pieces hand crafted by myself, but can't see that happening any time soon.
Still, life is good 🤍
Moving on from leathercraft and allowing myself time to focus on photography alone has been the greatest gift I could have made myself.

Whoever you are & whatever your struggle: it's never yoo late to start something new 🤍

2 years ago, up some hill in Ulverston with my favourite collection of leather goods 🤎
To this day, this is one of my favourite days out with the camera, a cherished memory shared with
I didn't think for a second back then that a few months later I'd open a coffee shop and it would consume my existence for over a year, before I'd find my creative energy again.
I'm slowly falling back within myself, and boy do I have a lot planned for this autumn...

I am almost done photographing the first shop drop of the year.
As said before, I am moving into a different direction with this account - I still have lots of leather goods to photograph and post here, but im no longer focused on leathercraft. In fact, once I post all the leather goods I have ready made, I may not create anything new for a looooong long time.
So back to these beauties, shall we?

Good morning from the workshop!
Today I'm working on part 2 of a waist bag + progress video for a quick reel.
It feels very odd to post here as my life is mostly outside of the leathercraft world at the moment and I find it so very hard to 'get back into it'. ..perhaps why I should post more of everything else in here 🤔

Workshop vibes ✨️
My 'studio' is now made of 2 different rooms & universes: the workshop, where I create goods & the 'studio' where I take photos, mostly for other brands, personal projects or cake recipes that I've been working on for our coffee shop.

Since moving my workshop to a tiny room, I had to downsize a lot & I'm still sorting through hides & boxes of scraps, trying to narrow everything down to bare essentials, so I could enjoy this space & this passion again.
I've got drawers full of leather goods waiting to be photographed & listed on the website.
I need to accept the fact that it will be a slow paced project, with all I'm juggling now, but baby steps are better than being static, is what I always believed.
