Ok, a little bit more of a sneak peek of these exciting chairs… we’ve made up the cushions in calico to keep them a completely blank canvas. The frames can be stained, oiled or painted and the cushions can be covered in any of our beautiful fabrics - let your imagination run wild! We are on annual leave from now until 7th September. It has been a really busy year so far with some big changes, and it has also been a wild summer coping with the heat and juggling two young children with running our own business. Thank you everyone who has supported us along the way! We are looking forward to some R&R and to recharge our batteries for the last little bit of the year.

A pair of these leather chairs have appeared in the workshop. There’s something so charming about the look of worn leather, it’s truly beautiful to see the love that people have had for this treasured piece of furniture. However, once it gets to the tipping point between looking well loved and totally worn out, it’s time for us to step in. Giving these chairs a little revamp is just the ticket! Watch this space 👀

Little bit of an unusual one… this was actually a personal project for us (because why not do some sewing on our lunch break?!). We recently bagged a bargain tent on eBay to be able to take the kids on a camping trip. The reason it was so cheap? Two small tears on a couple of seams… enter Russ! Whilst it was definitely one of the more awkward jobs to get through the machine, the repairs look great! We can’t wait to test out the tent soon for a family holiday before school starts again.

From sunshine to blue sky, this chair has had a summer-coded makeover. The seat is so much more supportive with the new webbing and we hope that will help our customer get a lot of use out of the chair for years to come.

Started work on this little yellow chair - as soon as I took the bottom cloth off my eye started twitching. This webbing is not my favourite! Elasticated webbing seems so counterintuitive to me; webbing will stretch over time anyway, and this stuff will need replacing well before the jute webbing that we use. Also, for the size of the chair, this is most certainly not enough to be supportive. Luckily, I love a reweb, so I’ll be giving this the full treatment while it’s open to make sure it will last 👌🏻
