U P D A T E
Hey hey friends!
I am sorry I have been off the radar for while... I've been off becoming a mum!
Our beautiful girl Raya was born back in January, and since then time has flown 😍
I decided that my time in was over, mum life was the new goal. So a few months back we packed up and moved out. 😔 I had the intention of maybe doing a little work from home after maternity, however the absence didn't make the heart grow fonder. I decided that the sewing life was over completely, other than a few lockdown postponed-wedding outfits.

Thank you all so much for all the custom and support over the last couple of years. I've loved meeting you all, and making and fixing items for your special occasions, and maybe some day I'll whip out the sewing skills again, but for now Aimee Liz Designs is closed indefinitely. 😔

However... Over lockdown we found a new passion, a new business idea just kind-of came to us... Cakes in jars! 🍰
Individually portioned, recyclable and sealed (meaning they're portable and can be resealed if you wanna leave some for later!)

I'd really appreciate if you guys would check out The Cake Jar Co. and give us a follow!🍰

We bake on Thursdays for Friday collections but are available for events and large orders, just hit us up in the DMs to enquire or order! ❤️

Good afternoon all! It is announcement time, bombshell time perhaps...
Unfortunately it's time that I let you all know that I have decided to give up my fab studio space in Made in Mourne and will be spending the remainder of my maternity leave focusing solely on Raya. From the end of the summer I will be deciding on what form this little business will take in future so please do stay tuned.
Thank you so so much to all of our wonderful customers over the last 2 years and of course to Jenna and the team at MADE in Mourne. My time there has been so beneficial for many many reasons. From a business stance, the exposure, footfall and affordable space has been priceless but also from a personal stance, the friendships, inspiration and encouragement are some that I hope stay for life.

I have a few fixed assets that I will be looking to sell from the space;
-Fitted cabinets: Pale grey with 2 tall cupboards, one side long hanging, the other concealed, 5 shelved and one 2 door cupboard on top, 3 under-desk drawers and 1 under-desk cupboard with a cool grey wood-look worktop.
-5 Black velvet mannequin display heads
-Changing screen
-Freestanding full length Mirror. SOLD
-Ironing Board.
-Range of headpieces TBC
Some other items and pictures will be advertised in future, still lots to sort! But PM for deets.

🔸E M M A ' S M A I D S🔸

Check out these gorgeous girls! Emma got married back in November and came to us with the most stunning colour palette and an amazing grey velvet skirt, wanting a top made to tie it all together. We opted for a matte look to allow full focus on the gorgeous velvet shine. The bodice is a fully lined, boat neckline in a burgundy crepe with a full sleeve (wrist length). Access is via an open ended zip in the centre-back edged with matching covered buttons. We also altered the skirts and attached the beaded tie belt.

The little lady at the end is a real wee cutie. Abbie was the best flower girl in her ALD soft tulle skirt in dove grey with a grey velvet waistband and back tie ribbon to match the 'Maids. Even teddy got a skirt to match! ❤️🐻

Good afternoon all! 🤗
This wee post is just to say that our books are now CLOSED. 🚫
At the beginning of December I plan to take off for maternity leave and have lots of work to do before then. Unless previously arranged I will not be taking on any alterations or dress orders and will be catching up over the next 3 weeks on everything in studio, meaning all items will be ready to collect on Dec 7th at the latest. I will be in touch in the interim directly anyway for earlier pieces.👗
Thank you all for your continued support over the last 2 years in business and your patience over the last couple of weeks with my awful baby-brain (yes, apparently it's real and very frustrating!)🥴

We'll see next year what ALDs new little mascot allows in terms of work schedule but keep an eye here and on insta for any orders that will be making their debuts within the next week or 2! And while I'm off there are still our beautiful NI designer headpieces available to hire from the studio in MIM (atleast that's the plan for now!)

This stunning mama-to-be, Rachel, wore our Rose Crown on Saturday to her baby shower! Her friend Jenny hired it for her...what a cute idea!❤

This incoming week we are FULLY BOOKED for alterations and have really limited availability for dressmaking for the rest of the year!
Any appointments already confirmed are safe and as always we are available for millinery hire, but no more alterations appointments will be taken on at present. Please stay tuned for availability!

NEW STOCK 😍

As we come to the end of this summers wedding season I may not be wise but I can't help but invest in pretty things 😂 This stunning rose gold crown has just come into the studio and is available to rent! It's from another local NI designer, new to us, from over in Co. Tyrone. 😍

As always, all our pieces are £20 to rent and a £20 deposit is required (refunded on return of item!).

Good evening all! 🤗
Just an update for those enquiring about dressmaking/alteration services over the next few months. 👗

The studio will be closed from the beginning of December for a few months and within this time only headpieces and accessories will be available to rent. No alterations or dressmaking will take place after 1st December and re-opening will be announced later in 2020. In the meantime business continues as normal but we have limited availability for dress orders before December, so if you have a special event coming up before then please enquire ASAP. Some orders may be considered for 2020 but will need to be started urgently and collected before December. Please also note that November is a busy alteration time for Christmas outfits so check in early to avoid disappointment!🎅

Sorry for any inconvenience but many many thanks to all of our new and loyal customers over the last 2 years (nearly! 😍) 🤗
