A BIG THANK YOU & A LITTLE INFO FOR ALL OUR NEW FOLLOWERS!

Firstly, a massive THANK YOU to everyone who popped down today for a wander! It was lovely seeing so many faces, both familiar and new!

We've had lots of new followers recently (hello and welcome!), but we've also had quite a few people getting a little lost trying to find us! So here's everything you need to know...

WHERE TO FIND US

We're tucked away inside Crookedholm Commercial Centre, Main Road, Crookedholm.

Head through TWO sets of doors, then we're on your RIGHT!

Trust me, once you find us, you'll know you're in the right place!

We're absolutely piled high from floor to ceiling with antiques, vintage goodies, curiosities and all sorts of treasures!

In fact, those of you who've already visited... tell everyone in the comments what it's really like in here! I'll let you decide whether it's a treasure trove or organised chaos!

OUR USUAL OPENING HOURS

Tuesday evenings: 6pm – 8pm

Saturdays: 11am – 3pm

These are our usual hours, but please keep an eye on the page for updates in case anything changes.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

- We accept cash or bank transfer.
- Unfortunately, due to quite a few no-shows, we're unable to hold items for long periods. We really appreciate your understanding.
- We're constantly restocking, so there's always something different to discover. No two visits are ever quite the same!

And a special SHOUT-OUT TO Irvine Valley Antiques for tagging us in their post! Thank you so much for spreading the word. It really does mean a lot!

We were going to have a tidy up, but then we found something interesting and got distracted. Again.

Welcome to Elaccure, where the furniture is old, the shelves are full, and our understanding of the phrase "you can't keep everything" remains questionable.

We've got beautiful pine furniture, unusual artwork, vintage treasures, curious collectables, a few stuffed birds looking mildly disapproving, and plenty of things we probably should have left behind!

Somewhere amongst it all, there are some genuinely lovely finds. You might just have to move three things and peer behind a fourth to spot them.

We like to think of it as an Aladdin's cave. Others might suggest we've lost control of the stockroom. Both opinions are valid.

So, a question for you lot...

Have a look through the photos. What's the FIRST thing you'd make a beeline for?

The furniture? The artwork? The weird and wonderful bits? Or are you the sort who heads straight for the most overcrowded shelf because that's obviously where the good stuff is hiding?

Let us know in the comments. We're always interested to see what catches people's eyes.

And if you fancy a proper rummage, come and see us. We can't promise you'll find what you're looking for, but there's a very good chance you'll leave wanting something you didn't know existed.

RESTOCK HAS STARTED! 👀

A right mixture going out this week - bureaus, cabinets, chairs, boxes, typewriters, desks... you name it.

Where's it all going to go? Don't you worry about that... that's MY problem. Your job is just to come down and buy it before I have to build an extension!

No pretty photos yet, still in the middle of the tetris. You'll have to come and have a proper rummage.

So many new faces and lovely returners - we appreciate you all. Thank you to all those who who came and collected their reserved item!

We moved a LOT of sold furniture, so the shop is looking... well, chaotic. From the photos today, you’d think we’d been burgled! Clean-up is tomorrow’s problem.

Let's start with the GOOD news!

The van is loaded and absolutely bursting with goodies! We've got LOTS of new treasures arriving in the shop tomorrow, and I can't wait for you all to have a rummage! All will be revealed soon!

Now for the BAD news…

Those gorgeous still life paintings? Well… they've made it onto my wall at home, and I think they look far too good there!

So unfortunately, they won't be making it into the shop… YET!

Never say never!

There's always something new to discover, so pop in, have a browse and see what catches your eye. You never know what treasure you'll find!

I don't know if it's because I'm on a diet or if the cheese and fruit in these actually looks THAT delicious... but I couldn't say no. 😅

Picked up these two stunning still life oils - fruit and cheese in the most beautiful ornate frames. Proper works of art.

I've still to decide if I'm keeping them... I'll know by Sunday!

Instead of our usual Tuesday night and Saturday daytime...

This week we are mixing it up and opening:

Wednesday Night - 6pm to 8pm
Sunday - 11am to 3pm

We will be CLOSED Tuesday 6th October and Saturday 10th.

I've been showing you all the big stock lately - this week I'll be showing you some of the smaller items, perfect for gifts and those finishing touches!

Great to meet some new faces and lovely as always to see our regulars.

We know what you all think when you visit — furniture piled high, a bit dusty, all crammed in together in the unit!

So we thought we'd show you what some of it actually looks like when it's not so tightly packed...

Here's a look at just some of what's available at the moment — from Victorian corner cabinets and burr walnut cocktail cabinets to roll-top desks, serpentine chests and that big cast iron lamppost.

All in stock and ready to view in Crookedholm . If anything catches your eye, just drop us a message.
