Oh I feel I’ve been away too long...

I’m all fired up to get going with my newly serviced machine.

I’ve been considering doing something with this design for some time. I thought before I commit to popping it on a Denim jacket I’d try it on a sweatshirt.

What do you think?

Working on this design has been good for me today I got quite upset this morning. I don’t often share personal stuff on here but there is an ongoing issue with my child and another child and for the past 2 years she’s been coming home saying he’s hurt her. Well yesterday she felt compelled to say something to his mother and for a 6 year old I felt she was eloquent and mature in what she said... well let’s just say the mother was far from eloquent or mature.... and it made me mad and sad for her.

So my child will not be down trodden and she will rise like a Phoenix and be amazing. I’m so proud of her every day and I’m proud that she stood up for herself the way she did.

So my beloved embroidery machine is off having its yearly service and I’m having withdrawals! I keep thinking... ooo I’l...

So my beloved embroidery machine is off having its yearly service and I’m having withdrawals! I keep thinking... ooo I’ll just pop up and do that.... and then remembering it’s not there!

But in other news I have at last had a haircut by the wonderful Roza at and I feel almost human again... fingers crossed I get another one this decade!

Also we picked up our new dog yesterday 😬 she’s super cute and I’ll share a pic in stories ones she’s had a bath later 🤪 last night was so tiring and I only slept from 2.30 to 5.00 (today is gunna be a toughy)

When my machine comes back I have an idea for a fire Phoenix denim jacket I can’t wait to get to work on.

Having a good sort in my workshop has cleared my mind to start a new jacket! This wild fire horse is on a gorgeous Levi’s dark denim jacket in a size M which I would pitch at a 10/12. It’s only in its infancy but if you like the look of it and would like to have input into its completion do drop me a DM and we can have a chat.

I absolutely love working on denim. It’s such a versatile fabric that is robust, timeless and in vogue whatever the season.

I’ve got some new designs I’d like to do but my workroom is getting a bit busy and I always think a clear space gives a clear mind... so I’m going to be doing a sample sale of tees, sweatshirts and the odd bag or two and selling off some of my denim jackets at reduced prices to clear the way for summer stuff and new designs.

This jacket is Boho and she’s a size 12 and was originally priced at £130. She is now available at 50% off so only £65 plus p&p.
