Breakfast and then as we sat so long, another coffee and cake. No dinner for me tonight!
And the view on the way home could only be improved if the dolphins had made an appearance 🐬

I attended the launch of Ards and North Down's 'Good Visitor Promise' this morning at the Picture House at the Ulster Folk Park in Cultra.
Lovely animation, aimed at showing visitors to the area how to make the best of their visit in a way that respects place and people 😊
The animation can be seen below.

The Good Visitor Promise is a simple and positive guide to help visitors enjoy everything our Borough has to offer, while also caring for the places and communities that make it unique.

I was given a present last Christmas - an 'Introduction to Sprang', workshop. and the workshop was today, at Clotworthy House in Antrim.
Sprang is an ancient textile technique that creates a stretchy, net-like fabric using warp threads. By twisting and interlinking the threads by hand, intricate patterns and practical items such as bags, belts, hairnets, and decorative pieces can be made. The craft dates back thousands of years and has been found in cultures across Europe, the Middle East, and South America.
Many thanks to Sally Pointer, expert in Sprang and many other prehistoric crafts and interests, and to Wild Bush Craft for organising it. Great workshop and I will spend the rest of the day practicing what I learned 😊

I am very pleased to be a member of the Loughs and Legends tourism cluster, and very grateful to the team of students from SERC who designed our new website. Many thanks to councillor Cllr Gillian McCollum for her time this morning to speak to us, and to show her appreciation of both SERC's very welcome contribution, and the progress made to date by the cluster.
As chair of Loughs and Legends, I also want to add my thanks and appreciation to everyone concerned.

Hi everyone, firstly thank you so much for the barrage off love sent to us here at EHH HhQ.
Your support means everything. The comments, messages and texts 💖
I am a little shell shocked over our recent losses. Nicki and Toad were 2 of the most loving, gentlest souls and I'm devastated to have lost them both. 💔
Having completely run out of tears I've been trying to stay busy. With the ponies of course. They are my healers. Apart from a couple of big companion only horses, we have nobody here ready to rehome. All of our well handled little ones have found a home now, so I'm making myself busy working with the next few.
Lastly I'll drop our PayPal in the comments.
If you have anything to spare Wwe would be very grateful. 3 emergency call outs and payment to the rendering plant means I'm absolutely broke. I couldn't bring myself to ask on the posts about the ponies. I hate that feeling. But vets, even with the amazing discounts, cost money and so does disposing the little bodies (£118 today) I took them over myself. 😢
So iif you can help, thank you.

I'm off now to check everyone and top up hay.
Thanks for being here 💕🐎💕

Here's a colouring page iif you like to colour to relax. Just print it off ❤️

Maker's Moot went on a visit this morning to our friends Ann and Mike Miall, experts in all things doll's house. Mike puts the frames of the houses together, and makes all the furniture and fittings, whilst Ann makes the clothing and soft furnishings from her very fine patchwork, lace and cross stitch.
We finished with a tour of their beautiful garden 🌷🌹💐
