I just can’t thank you enough, the lovely people of Dunfermline and surrounding areas, who came to support ‘Little Green’ over the past few days at the Small Business Market, in the Kingsgate Shopping Centre.

Today was my last planned trading day for a while and, as a result of your support, I pretty much cleared all of my stock. A huge thank you to each and every one of you and extra special thanks to the two customers (you know who you are), who absolutely insisted on paying the full price for jackets which I had discounted; your generosity was really touching…thank you 💗…

I’m left with only 4 jackets (which I will take pleasure in wearing, myself 😊), but below are three of my absolute favourites, all bought today by the same customer, who looked fantastic in all of them. A huge thank you again, for your custom.

I’ve loved every minute of working at this market and will miss the traders and customers so much. However, in my absence, please continue to go along and support the other small businesses at the market, who go to such a huge effort each month, to bring you all such a unique shopping experience. They survive only as a result of your continued loyalty.

Thanks again, so very much, everyone, and take care 😊

Last preview of some of the stock which will be on my stall tomorrow at the Small Business Market, in the Kingsgate Shopping Centre, Dunfermline.
These are all ‘pre-loved’ items, which have been rescued, repaired and restored, to enable them to have another life! And, as with all the items I have been posting this week, I am offering a great discount on these: all ‘pre-loved’ garments only £5 each.
Here’s just a wee selection; there are loads more!

So just a reminder that I’m offering a substantial discount on ALL of my stock tomorrow and Saturday. Have a look back at my posts from the last few days to remind yourself of what is on offer and hopefully you can come along and grab yourself a bargain! It would be great to see you 😊

So, as I mentioned in my last post a few days ago, this coming Friday and Saturday will be the last time I’ll be trading as part of the Small Business Market, at the Kingsgate, for the foreseeable future. Ongoing commitments are unfortunately making it impossible for me to make definite plans, at the moment, for follow up markets.

Because of this, I’ve decided to offer substantial discounts on ALL of my stock over the two days; all jackets and shirts will be half price, remaining hats and bags will be reduced and ALL pre-loved items will be only £5!

I already posted up some jackets/shirts a few days ago, so here are some more. ALL are included in the half price deal.

I’ll post up some more items tomorrow, before the market, but in the meantime, make a point of planning to get yourself along there, on Friday or Saturday, to grab an amazing bargain from my stall while I still have stock available. Early Christmas shopping, or just an excuse to treat yourself; either way, we all love a bargain. Make sure you don’t miss out!

Only five days to go until I’m back at the Kingsgate Shopping Centre, in Dunfermline, as part of the Small Business Market. I’ll be there with my Little Green stall, on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th October.

I love being at this market, but unfortunately this will be the last one I’ll be able to attend for the foreseeable future. So, if you’d like to snap up a unique creation, while I still have some available, make sure you get yourself along there.

Below, are some of the jackets which I still have in stock and I’ll post up, before Friday’s market, some of the other items which will be on my stall.
Have a good week, everyone and hopefully see you next weekend.

A massive thank you to all my customers today, old and new, at Strathmiglo Vintage and Artisan Fayre. It was a fantastic day, with so much enthusiasm shown for my creations. It’s always so lovely to receive compliments, so thank you all so much for your kind words; very much appreciated.

I’m back in the Kingsgate Shopping Centre, in Dunfermline, as part of the Small Business Market, a week on Friday and Saturday (4th/5th October)… but don’t worry, I’ll remind you all again, as it gets closer.

In the meantime, thank you all so much, once again, for supporting Little Green and here are just a few of my favourite items, which found their way to a new home today…

Just a wee reminder that Little Green will be at the Vintage and Artisan Fayre (formerly known as ‘Falkland Vintage Fayres’), in Strathmiglo Village Hall, TOMORROW, from 11am.

I’ve managed to finish off a few more jackets to add to my collection, focussing on more autumnal colours this time, which I think always look good on denim.

The first is a ‘Gap 1969’ and the other two are vintage ‘Levi’. I’ve used offcuts of quality linen to rework the first two and a mix of cotton lawn and silk, on the third one. As always, there will be loads more items on the stall; jackets, shirts, hats and bags, so come and have a browse and treat yourself!

This is always a great Fayre for unique ‘finds’ and interesting stalls, so if you’re looking to brighten up your Sunday, get yourself along there. It would be lovely to see you. 😊

Today’s job has been to finish off these denim bags in time for Sunday’s fayre, as they are always so popular with customers.

As you can see from the photos, they are made from all the different parts of pairs of jeans, not only preventing second hand denim from ending up in landfill, but also making sure each bag is individually crafted and totally unique.

Each bag measures roughly 13 by 16 inches, is embellished with oddments of quality fabric and has a full length denim shoulder strap, which fastens to the bag with two lobster claw clasps. They are fully lined and have two inside pockets (one is ‘phone size’ and the other is slightly larger), as well as various different sized pockets on the outside, depending on which part of the jeans I’ve used.
In the photos, I’ve shown the front and back of each bag, as the detail on the each side is different.

And, they’ll be on my stall at Sunday’s Vintage and Artisan Fayre, Strathmiglo Village Hall, 11am until 4pm. It would be amazing to see you there!

So, massive apologies in advance for this being the biggest mishmash of unprofessional photos that I’ve ever posted! But it’s VERY difficult to display hats in a way which make them look as they actually are!

I started off trying to model them; not a good plan, as I couldn’t successfully show all angles. Then I tried hat stands, but they don’t show the shape well and then I gave up and just laid them on the floor. So, I hope that at least one of these methods gives you an idea of what they are like.

They are made from oddments of fleece and linen, come in three different styles and are all lined in contrasting fabric. I have attached a buckle or handmade brooch to the side of each one. There are also a variety of sizes. They DO look way better in real life, honestly! But perhaps the best thing to do would be to come and see for yourself! They’ll be on my ‘Little Green’ stall at Strathmiglo Village Hall, this coming Sunday. You’ll need one of these once this hot weather has passed!

Some new creations! Three pre-loved army jackets, reworked in three different ways, with tartan as the main theme, acknowledging my love of the late Vivienne Westwood’s designs.

They are all quite loose fitting, so would suit roughly from a size 12/14-18, depending on how you like your jackets to fit.

They will be on my stall, along with many other new creations, a week today, Sunday 22nd September, at the Vintage and Artisan Fayre, in Strathmiglo Village Hall. This is the same fayre that used to be held in Falkland, three or four times a year, but which has now moved to a different venue in Strathmiglo. Always such an interesting range of traders, with unique items for sale and a great vibe. So take a note of the date; I’ll remind you again throughout the week, when I post up more of my new creations, which will be for sale on the day…
