Adult Sewing Classes
Starting July 2026.
Please drop in to discuss- dates/ projects, sewing ability, beginner / advanced, dressmaking / fashion and design/ crafts/ starting your own sewing business- the possibilities are endless!!

Currently running:-
Wednesdays and Thursdays
10am - 12pm. or
2pm - 4pm
Evenings also available- discuss to book

Single classes available
(£25 per 2 hour session)

5 class course £100
(i.e. one class free)

Sewing is a creative pastime, which can be channelled into many different areas of expertise, for example crafts, upholstery, dressmaking, haute couture, repairs and alterations, creating your own business - making whatever comes to mind, manufacturing clothes, handbags etc etc. It is also very mindful, enhancing mood and confidence, with huge job satisfaction, creating something bespoke, one off and personal.

I have been sewing most of my life and can’t imagine life without a sewing machine.

Classes have to be paid for in advance to book. Please feel free to drop into the shop sometime to discuss dates/ times etc- opening hours below

Children’s Sewing Classes

Children’s Sewing Classes starting July 2026.
Please drop in to discuss- dates/ projects, sewing ability, beginner / advanced, dressmaking / fashion and design/ crafts/ starting your own sewing business- the possibilities are endless!! I currently have 3 young people sewing with me continuously and doing very well ( they all have caught the sewing bug!!) and gaining great skills for the future. Lower Age limit is 12 years old.

Beginners, improvers, bespoke sessions also available (one 2 one, or specific projects) cushions, dressmaking, learn how to make curtains, crafts.

Please ask advice if dressmaking about fabric and suitable patterns.
