A really fun project to work on with 12 panels to illustrate -all focused around the theme of ‘HOT’ …the perfect theme for this summer ☀️ for Roof East in Stratford, London with all its tasty food options and fun outdoor games!

💕 LOVED working on this year’s illustration for the theme “Drawing with Senses”! …Always such a great moment when a new project is unveiled!

The brief was a wonderful opportunity to explore drawing an illustrated sensory landscape with heavy 1970s vibes! (definite parallels to the era too with the importance of both the peace movement and the civil rights movements these days.)

A great one to explore and a fun one to animate too! (I will share some of the animations in the next few days)

Loved illustrating this collection of innovative cards for 💕 Great to see them in real life! …the Stay Fiery Babes and Have a Juicy Birthday cards are tip one with gold foil, the Thinking of You card is die cut rainbows, the New Home card has an actual door that opens and (my favourite!) Lucky Cat good luck card is foiled in gold with its own bell that jangles! All in stores or online now!

So so delighted to see these giant P L A Y cubes I designed for in action! 🎨 💕✨ …a real dream of a commission (…I am only a little sad that we moved out of London before I got to see them up in person! BUT! A great excuse to go back and check them out in person soon!) Absolutely loved working on these (any excuse to draw giant toucans, flamingos and other tropical goodies if fine by me!)

If anyone goes please do send me more pics! It is a wonderful place to visit for great food, drink, games and of course installation pieces! -a proper playground for adults!
