Teaching the juniors: The children got a sewing machine for Christmas and Coco wanted to try her second project. After making a little bag, she went for a skirt.
1. Unpick dad's old work shirts, that were starting to fall apart in places. Note that opening seams can take as long as the actual sewing...
2. Print your favourite designs onto the fabric with potatoes or in this case parsnips (we love potatoes too much to print with them!)
3. Cut the fabric into panels with your template
4. Sew the pieces together
5. Add elastic
6. Add bias binding to the edge
7. Twirl!

As we have still not moved house, we decided to open some of our online shops with very limited Christmas stock. So we're back to working from the dining room table.
If you have ordered one of our Christmas newspapers recently chances are high that Coco has packed your order. She negotiated a top up for her pocket money and is wrapping everything with great care and attention to detail...

León and Coco have surpassed all my breakfast expectations this morning with homebaked bread, handshaken butter, self-made strawberry jam and homemade fruit salad. But the crowning glory was the cappuccino that looked just as if dad had made it. Holidays are a great time for learning important life skills :-D Thank you to

With a heavy heart I returned the keys to our office a few days ago. It has been a pleasure working at 54 St James Street and I will miss it a lot. Until we get to our new place we will close down. We'll hopefully be back soon!
