An unexpected trip to the Mayors office on Friday threw up an even greater surprise.
I was sworn in , by Deacon Alec Paterson as a sister of the Burgess and Tailors Incorporation of Glasgow and presented by command of the Lord Provost of Glasgow a sealed certificate citing me as Freeman of Glasgow City. Honoured and humbled.
