Wow. This was a first. Seeing one of my handmade items on another FB group with ownership being claimed by a total random.
For those offering praise, thank you so much. Yes, it was very well received by my customer.
For those asking for the pattern, the bear is by Funky Friends Factory, the wings were my own addition.
I guess once my pictures and ideas are being nicked that means I've made it?

So much relief this morning! My lovely customer, who is State-side, messaged me this morning to say her order had arrived and she's super happy with her critters... so far so good right? Well. Yes, except for the absolute nightmare courier 'service' we had to go through.

As much as I hate to post anything negative I do feel a PSA is needed to warn against using a certain company for anything that is needed to be delivered in a way that is a) timely b) secure c) actually delivered.

Evri.

There's a reason they're often the cheapest option on price comparison sites. They say they're going to deliver/notify of delivery when it just hasn't happened (paid for the signed for option? Pfft means nothing). You have to search around to get any contact with anyone which culminates in them suggesting you, the PAYING customer, contact a third party who may or may not have the parcel and in the meantime contact the sender to see what they can do. As I am acting on behalf of my customer and am therefore the sender there is NOTHING I can, or should, do.

I am so relieved that finally, a week after being notified such, the parcel has ARRIVED at its intended destination. Wow, though. Just wow. Examples of 💩service all round.

So please, pay a little more and save yourself a whole lot of heartache and avoid Evri like the plague it is.
