I'll be at Stockbridge for an event during the last weekend in September - a new one for me, so I hope those of you nearer Stockbridge than Guildford will drop in and say hello. Thank goodness the excessive heat of May and June abated so I have been able to make some new scarves and bags!

First of this year's events - Surrey Hills Artisan Fair at Denbies Wine Estate near Dorking this weekend - May 20th and 21st.
You can buy tickets in advance and there is lots of stands selling food and drinks as well as gorgeous things to buy and try! So make a day of it!
I will be demonstrating feltmaking and information about the workshops Lydia and I run will be available.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Artfelt Creations this year - the first year of collaboration between Lydia Tapley and myself.
We will be continuing with workshops next year, including longer sessions making slippers, scarves and bags . There will also be shorter, half-day workshop aimed at those new (or relatively new) to feltmaking. These will cover small items like flower brooches, lavender hearts, fingerless mitts and trinket pots - aimed at introducing newbies to 3D feltmaking.
We will also be attending some events, the first of which is planned to be at Contemporary Arts at Sandown in March.
Time now to say I hope you all have a peaceful few days and wishing you all a brighter, less stressful 2023.

Another super-busy day at West Horsley Place - so many chums and other familiar faces - thank you all for your support.
We're open for business again tomorrow from 10am - also a good chance to see the Harvest pods which the GladRags Gang helped to produce Diana Burch masterminded for Harvest at Box Hill in September. They are so colourful and it's lovely to see the different variations in colour-theme.

It was lovely to touch base with so many people I'd met before at South Hill Park - especially as I haven't been since before the Covid lockdowns (as I broke my wrist last year!)
Thank you all for turning out on what were the most lovely bright, sunny days.
Next weekend I shall be at Sparkle in Teddington under the Flights-of-Fantasy banner. This annual event is in such a lovely setting, so if you haven't been before - come along this year.
I'm now madly catching up making additional stock so you have a full range of goodies to choose from!

The first of this year's Christmas events is at South Hill Park near Bracknell. This is a wonderful venue - and such a lovely time to return. P:revious years fell to Covid, then last year I broke my wrist, so couldn't take part.
Happy to be back with both felted items and plaster casts, all of which will be at special prices as they are the last I have for this year.
Looking forward to seeing visitors I have missed over the intervening years.....and to lots of new faces too!

A couple of weeks ago at the Coffin Club at Clandon Wood I met an inspirational young man facing a terminal diagnosis. Phil knows he is life limited but despite this (well, actually, because of it) he has set up a very professional website selling eco-friendly sports kit which at the same time supports some charities doing wonderful work for cancer sufferers.
