After running my business for some time I think it’s about time I share with you all little about me and how I got into this.
It all actually started by accident, previously I was a child psychiatrist and after an unlucky wrapping incident I tore a disc in my back. This left me unable to drive, sleep and in chronic pain. Like so many of us throughout COVID I started to declutter and sell a few of my vintage ceramics I’ve collected over the years.
I’ve always loved collecting ceramics and Art Deco and after many sleepless nights spent browsing auctions and reading up on different pieces I fell in love more and more.
My husband asked me to part with some of my vintage kitchenware as it was taking up too much space and this is when I found my love for selling on eBay. I loved being able to chat with other collectors. It was temping some days to stay in bed as moving caused too much pain but running the business provided me with the physical and mental rehab I needed.
Thankfully my third and final procedure has left me pain free so I decided 18 months ago to make this my full time business and I have never looked back.
