Super Kosmic Tassels in a gold and black combo. I feel like the golds in the collection have a real warm festive feeling to them and the silvers have a super icy fierceness to them.

These Nova Rocket hoops are one of my favorite designs from the new collection.☺️ I named them because they kinda look star laden rockets that have just taken of! 😂

I really need to get an earing post one of these days so I can show you how these babies dangle!!

These will be released as part of the new collection on Sat the 28th. Might do a story to help me decide on AM or PM!🤔

They're finished! I've finally put together the 4 different variations of Super Kosmic Tassels that will be part of the new monochrome festive collection. These are the black and silver variation.
These super statements take such a lot to time and patience to make and put together... and the addition of glitter and metalic thread tassels has made the process an even longer one than usual. (who knew that metalic thread was so much more fiddly to handle!) I bet
knows what's I mean!

I've been calling this new collection of earrings the monochrome festive collection, but not entirely sure about it. What do you think? I'd love to hear your suggestions for alternatives!!

Somehow managed to delete this post feom yesterday so here it is again! 🤣

Well the rest of the collection didn't stay very minimalist.
These shiny little beasties give me christmas bauble vibes...anyone in need of some festive dangles to jazz up their outfit for the enevitable work Christmas quiz, via zoom?!! 😂🎅

This collection of earrings are going to be hitting the Etsy shop on Monday. As, I'm not entirely sure whether I'll be doing some in person markets in Dec due to lockdown part 2 and because most of these earrings are fairly time consuming to construct, I've only made 1 pair of each design. so I will be listing these as made to order with a 1-2 week shipping time. That way I can get a feel for which designs are popular and make sure I've still got time to proto type some other designs incase the markets get the go ahead.

Aaaah get a load of these beoooties! I am fully head over heels in love ❤️ with these minimalist hoops!
I seriously want to keep a pair of each colour/glitter combo, but I've just saved myself a pair of the black with gold glitter...for now.

These are 100% gonna become a Kosmic Sun staple and I'll be doing other colour combos and maybe sizes in future for sure!

Just got a few more pieces in this collection to finish off and then all get them all snapped and announce a launch date. 😜.

I've had the idea for these in my head for a while now and debated about whether to make them or not for the longest time. Basically because I knew they would be so different to anything I'd made so far, but I'm sooooo glad I did because absolutely adore them. I have such an eclectic fashion sense, some days I'm all about bright rainbow colours and the next day I wanna go 100% goth and I don't see why Kosmic Sun shouldn't reflect that.

These super sleek contemporary style studs are going to be part of a new collection that I'm still putting together.
I think it has an ever so slight Christmas edge. Silver and gold glitter is festive right?
I've stuck to a black, white, silver and gold, colour palate and really concentrated on experimenting with form for the pieces I've made so far and I've loved how giving myself a restricted colour palate has worked out!

Found it fairly difficult to get a good pic of these guys that fully does them justice, but I couldn't wait to share them. If anyone has any tips for photographing black and white/ glittery things lemme know!

All these beauties are still available in the Etsy store, there are limited numbers left of some... only one pair left of the pink tri-leaf dangles! So get in there quick if you've had your peepers on them. Also there's now free UK postage on all orders before Christmas!!!

I've been working on some exciting stuff over the past few days for a new collection that's quite different to anything I've done so far and I can't wait to show you all! Until then ciao! And a happy Tuesday to you all.

So I thought I'd talk a little bit about shopping small. I don't know if it's becoming more involved in the creative community or an understanding of the effects of covid on small buisnesses right now. But, there feels to be an increased pressure to shop small this Christmas.

Don't get me wrong it's a great message and one that I fully believe in. I'd much rather see the pockets of indie buisness owners being lined (mine included!) than handing over more cash to the conglomerate heads of the world and personally I've increasingly endeavoured to support more indie creatives this year.

However, as someone in a household where both I and my partner are currently unemployed due to the effects of covid. The shop small rhetoric whist lovely, is for me and I suspect many others pretty unfeasible this festive season. The reality is that the majority of people in my gift giving circle will recieve small, handmade, token presents, if they recieve anything at all.

So, I suppose I've got a couple of thoughts on the 'shop small' message. If you're in a position where the pandemic hasn't affected your gift giving capabilities. Then please, consider spending your pennies supporting an indie biz...your purchase might just double your gifting ability, in giving a small biz owner the ability to pay it forward and shop small for their friends and family.

But, if that's not a position you enhabit. Then don't friggin worry!! Yes there may be buisnesses you wish you could monitarily support, who's creations you'd love to gift... I have a boat load of them! If thats not possible right now, give em a like, a share, recomend them to someone. There are loads of ways you can support small buisnesses that don't involve moola.

And finally for those who need to hear it, for bloody hells sake, don't feel bad about not 'shopping small'. Whatever you do or don't buy, Christmas is a hard enough time already for some, and I don't for a second think that any indie biz owners would want you piling another layer of guilt on yourself because you bought a gift from Asda instead of Etsy!!

🌞Happy Friday Everyone! 🌞

So, I'm a little late to the party, but I thought I'd do a lil meet the maker post as it's meet the maker week and I'm also lucky enough to be taking part in the which is mega exciting! I've also had a few more followers lately so, hello and thankyou!

Here's a little bit me...

1. My full name is Faye Vera Jean Oldfield. The middle names were my grandma's names and I'd love to start a bit of a family tradition, by giving my first born their grandparents names as middle names too.

2. My absolute favorite place to read a good book is in a steaming hot bath full of bubbles. Gonna have a session tonight and start reading The Book of Dust.

3. I love a good bargain which is why I'm an avid chazza shop/carboot/flea market rumager. I'd say at least 80% of my clothes are secondhand and mostly from the close swap. Which I can wait to reattend once rona is gone!

4. My dream pets are a Maine C**n cat and a Dogue de Bordeaux

5. To unwind I love having a good old family board games night with my partner Dan and his daughter Bap. A fav game at the mo is pass the pigs! 🐖
