“I don’t know my size anymore.” This happens when our body goes through changes but sizing on the high street isn’t consistent.
This makes ordering online so difficult and often leaves you disheartened.
You can see in my photos that there are a pair of trousers that are a Zara size small. Could I go into Zara and pick any pair of trousers up in a size small and be confident they will fit? Absolutely not! 👎
Styles are different and fits are different. High waisted trousers. Maybe 🤔 Low rise? Absolutely not! My hips are way wider than my waist.

Next time you go shopping take a few of the same style in different sizes to try and don’t stress about the number on the label. The fit and the feel are way more important. ❤️

This last few weeks has been crazily busy for me. Closing the shop, teaching baby summer classes Bloom Baby Classes Leeds West and prepping for our summer holiday in Moraira so I haven’t been as active as I usually am on here. We’ve booked a villa through Airbnb which we’ve done for years now. As you all know I’m extremely social and never stop talking 😂 but sometimes I like to just have my own space with my family

When I went to Morocco a lovely customer of mine reminded me that I didn’t go an outfit reel which I’ve done for the last few years when being away 😂 but let me assure you these will be coming soon thanks to my cameraman Graham Hope

Anyway I’m posting this outfit because these ZARA trousers are one of my favourite wardrobe summer staples that I forgot about!!

As always the night before travelling I was packing my case and decided to shop my wardrobe. I always pack the night before because I know I have more than enough clothes to get me through a 2 week holiday and don’t want to get into that trap of buying more for the sake of it.
I emptied nearly all of my wardrobe onto the bed and found a few things that I completely forgot I had and was so happy with these trousers especially! They’re high waisted so help to make me feel comfortable about my tummy area and wide legged. We definitely don’t need clothes sticking to you when it’s over 30 degrees.

This is your reminder to shop your own wardrobe before you buy anything new because the chances are you probably don’t need it!

I’ve teamed the trousers with a preloved Primark waistcoat, New Look sandals that are years old but only ever get worn on holiday and my kate spade new york bag which was a birthday gift a few years ago from Graham Hope which is always my go to bag.

Closing the shop has given me a lot of time to reflect.

Of course, there are moments of sadness. This little shop has been a huge part of my life, and I’ll always be grateful for every customer, every conversation and every woman who walked through the door.

But the more I reflect, the more I realise this isn’t about closing a business, it’s about creating space for a business that feels even more aligned with who I am and how I want to help women.

The Style Rebirth has never just been about clothes.

It’s been about confidence, connection and helping women feel more like themselves.

That’s the part I’m taking with me.

As I step into this next chapter, my hope is that you’ll continue to be part of the journey—through style swaps, workshops, community events and conversations that remind us that style isn’t about perfection, it’s about how we want to feel.

Thank you for believing in The Style Rebirth, for supporting me, and for making this community what it is. ❤️

Yesterday, a butterfly flew into the shop and stayed with me for a little while and even said hi to one of my awesome customers🦋

Now, whether you see butterflies as a sign, a coincidence or simply a beautiful moment in nature, it made me stop and reflect.

As I’ve been preparing to close this chapter of The Style Rebirth and step into something new, I’ve had moments of excitement, uncertainty and everything in between.

But seeing that butterfly reminded me of something important…

Growth often means change.

Transformation can feel uncomfortable.

And sometimes we have to let go of one chapter to make space for the next.

I’m choosing to trust this journey and follow what feels most aligned with my heart.

This little moment felt like the reassurance I needed to keep moving forward. ❤️🦋
