Like so many menswear stories the success of NICHOLAS DEAKINS has its roots forged during the heady days of the early 90s club scene across the UK. The brand founder, Craig Nicholas Tate, proposed launching his own brand after returning from a trip to New York, which brought him into contact with some of the most iconic US utilitarian workwear brands. Two styles were designed and man

ufactured in Northampton, the heartland of the UK footwear industry, and they hit the shelves in late 1991. Immediate success followed, and the whole collection had sold out in little over two weeks……….the demand and, therefore the brand was now created. Over the following years, NICHOLAS DEAKINS has evolved into one of the UK’s leading footwear brands, which has been sold worldwide.
