Every class is an opportunity to grow. You’re here to learn not to perfect everything straight away.
You’re not here to compete with the dancer next to you. Yes we can admire other dancers and we have to. Appreciate their talent and learn from them. But don’t compare too much that it stops you from your own progression.
Growth happens when you’re willing to try, make mistakes and try again. Don’t always book the class that you know you can nail. Try a different style that challenges you. Try the next level up. Put yourself in the room with those that level you up. You’ll thank yourself for this later down the line.
