B&M Fabrics first began life as a teeny tiny stall at the bottom of the market in 1968 selling remnants out of baskets. Bill and Margaret found that they were so successful that not long after, they applied for the a bigger stall in the middle of the market where you can still find us today. We sell a variety of funky and traditional prints ranging from polycotton for newbie sewers, pure cotton f

or seasoned seamstresses and crafters, viscose, printed and plain polyester, fleece and everything in between! We aim to be up to date on every aspect of sewing and crafting possible and you can bet if the person helping you out right at that moment doesn't quite know the answer to your query, one of the other cutting gals will. We are passionate, enthusiastic and have a desire to get you sewing that cannot be matched. We keep our prices low just for you (£4.50 per metre for pure cotton, who can argue with that!) and can order most things in if we don't happen to have it in stock at the time. We are dedicated to giving you the best service possible and are happy to help you even after you've left with your fabricy goodness. The whole point of this page is not to sell, sell, sell... it's to help, help, help! We may have moved on from priced remnants, but we've still got our bargain basket and the knowhow to help you!
