Been a bit quiet on here recently hopefully that’s about to change. Lots of exciting new designs are in the process of being made and a website soon to come. My very talented pal Ben Price made my logo designs/ideas come reality with the logo below. The logo is designed around my Taid’s (Grandad) handwritting so happy with the outcome.

Day five of is boomerang. Today's short video is of me melting some pewter ready to make some casts. Pewter is such a versatile metal with a low melting point making it perfect for quick casts. πŸ”₯

Very late on but this is day three a picture of my workshop. My home workshop (in the picture) is a work in progress at the moment excited to get properly working in it when I have everything set up. I am however lucky enough to be able to use DMU's workshops as one of their artists in residence. βœ‚οΈπŸ”¨

Day two of - favourite to make. Above are two of my degree show rings. My favourite part of my work is definitely the casting process. Each cast turns out differently to the last which makes each piece I design different. My practice is very process led the cast dictates the final design. Having said that my favourite make is larger scale jewellery pushing the idea of what is perceived as wearable.

Joining in with (a day late). Hello this is me Angharad a recent graduate from DMU. I'm currently an artist in residence at DMU and a part time lifeguard. I love nothing more than making in my workshop. I work mainly in silver hammering/forming/casting to create nature inspired jewellery. I'm in the design process of creating a new range of jewellery incorporating colour into my pieces. Looking forward to where this takes me βœ‚οΈπŸŒΏ
