I thought with us being in the last week for guaranteed holiday delivery I'd spend a few days showing off some of the newest bows and scrunchies to make it onto the website.

Hopefully, if you've still got some last minute shopping to do, you'll find something for the last person on your list.

Just 1 more week to go before Royal Mail can guarantee delivery arriving before the holidays - although I wouldn't want to take any chances - get your orders in before the weekend finishes to have the best chance as possible.

Do people still leave ordering presents that late into the month!?
It's the 10th today and I'm already panicking about the last couple I don't have sorted (I don't think of myself as a last minute planner until it becomes last minute 🤦🏻‍♀️😂).

Gift Sets

There are so many items in matching fabric over on the website that recently I've been pairing them up into gift Sets and taking them with me to fairs.

They've been going down really well so I thought it was time I listed them up on the website for you all to browse through and hopefully find your favourite.

Don't panic though, if your favourite fabric isn't listed as a gift set but you know there are two items you'd like making in to a gift, add a note to your order and I can get that sorted for you.

Hopefully you'll be able to create the perfect gift set for that someone special.

The 'Two Tone Bows' work great at making a bit more of a statement than the smaller knot bow style.

I attended an evening market a couple of weekends ago and because it was in the evening my daughter didn't come with me. She's a great companion for the those quieter fairs when you need to pass the time talking to someone, but for this one I needed to think how I would fill the quieter moments.

The answer: sewing!

I took my latest batch of recently sewn two tone bows, a bag full of bobbles, some thread and a needle and by the end of the fair I had all of them bobbled up and ready for their middle fabrics to be added before getting them listed onto the website.

How do you pass the time at fairs and markets when there aren't many visitors?
Do you take things with you to do?

If you've seen my other posts this week (I'd love it if you could let me know how many you've seen) you will have noticed how very blue/green themed they have been and how well they match to the winter season.

If, however, you want something a little brighter but still keeping with the seasonal colours then maybe this 'Geometric Red' will take your fancy.

It's bold, it's bright, it says "party" more than any other scrunchie currently available and it's waiting for someone to wear it to an end of year party!

Another snow-themed bow from me today.

Let's talk snowflakes:
Don't you find it absolutely fascinating that every snowflake is unique and has the most stunning of patterns and shapes if you zoom into them.

I also love when the frost comes overnight and leaves the most incredible swirls and patterns on the car windows (obviously it's incredible when I don't have to get out early and scrape the car - home education wins again!!).

Genuinely interested: any idea why some frost is just a plain sheet of ice and why some has the patterns and swirls?
