I decided to make my sons babygrows into a bear-i REALLY didn't want to add them to all the others in the attic. So i found a pattern i liked (thank you funkyfriendsfactory) and made his bear-modestly proud i showed friend- who also wanted one- flattered of course-i made her bear. one person asked if i had a page- i didn't but i thought why not? a few photos later and poor me figuring out
how to make a business page, making mini memories was on Facebook!! back then i had 3 patterns i now have well over 40 and always adding more! and now makingminimemories.co.uk is born i couldn't be prouder. I'm asked to make all sorts of bears and its a real privilege to be honoured with the task! Thank you to everyone who has supported me-and thank you to my family for not complaining (that much) about cotton and fabric all over the place! The process:
order your keepsake either through facebook or www.makingminimemories.co.uk
You pay and post your items to me
Your parcel arrives and an email is sent to you
your clothes are sealed in a bag waiting to be used
Once ready your clothes are laid out and key design and pretty features are deided (and any further emails sent if needed)
pattern peices are cut out
Pattern pieces are interfaced
pattern [eices are cut out again
buttons pockets lace etc- name and personalisation are sewn on
Yout keepsake is swen together
your keepsake is stuffed
eyes are added
Any hand sewing is done. you are emailed a selection of photos of your keepsake
your item is packed up in tissue paper, label, safety note, postal bag, recycled box (phew)
your item is posted first class recorded
you are emailed with a tracking number
your keepsake arrives home!!
