Sun fading is slow, unpredictable and impossible to reproduce perfectly. Light gradually strips away pigment, creating uneven tones, softened colour and a finish unique to every garment.

Tsurupika Works is the work of a single Japanese artisan, creating every garment slowly and individually. Each jacket is cut, constructed and finished by him. One piece at a time, away from mass production.

TAKASHI MURAKAMI × YUTA HOSOKAWA — ROUND THREE.

Arriving early September at The Business Fashion.

The third collection from mononoke・made, a brand by internationally renowned artist Takashi Murakami and Yuta Hosokawa, the designer behind READYMADE / ©SAINT M######.

This collection features three of Takashi Murakami’s signature artworks: “Flowers,” “Cherry Blossoms,” and “Fujin Raijin Maiko.”

Each artwork, with its own distinct background and story, has been translated into products through mononoke・made’s unique interpretation.

Since their first meeting in 2018, Takashi Murakami and Yuta Hosokawa have developed a relationship of trust and an ongoing dialogue through their creative practices. Born from this relationship, mononoke・made combines the world of art that Murakami has built over many years with the craftsmanship and vintage processing techniques cultivated by Hosokawa, pursuing a distinctive approach to making that transcends the boundaries between art and fashion.

The visuals were photographed at Kaikai Kiki’s Miyoshi Studio by photographer Herbie Yamaguchi, who was personally selected by Yuta Hosokawa.

Rick Owens has never been interested in ordinary sportswear.

For SS27, the designer reunited with adidas after almost a decade, and brought literal air conditioning to the runway.

Built using adidas Climacool technology, oversized jackets and shorts contain internal fans that inflate the garments while circulating air around the body. Combined with an ice vest, Owens describes the result as a “personal air conditioning system.”

Technology originally developed to help elite athletes handle extreme heat has now become one of Paris Fashion Week’s strangest and potentially most practical silhouettes.
