The Curious Yak was started in early 2010 after a life-changing trip to Nepal. Braking away from the normal adrenalin junkies in search of Everest’s summit two sisters embarked on an inspiring journey through Himalayan villages. Staying with local villagers, their cattle, eating dhal and camping under the stars. After visiting one of the many houses on their journey a bond was struck with a local

over a mutual love of textiles. The items we now provide come from that very same local man and help to support his family and friends in Nepal. They are some of the softest and highest quality textiles you will ever find.
