Using some of our Japanese linens and quality cottons at the shop has given a range of these useful ‘baskets’ that are made in the same way as a quilt so are completely washable and long lasting.

3 new customer makes today.
All followed the same pattern and were made with our. Moda Jelly Rolls, bamboo wadding, sashing and border fabric and backing fabric all bought from our shop in Dam Street.
They were all quilted on their own domestic machines.
They look great and all have their own uniqueness don’t you think?
Come and look at our Moda range to make your next quilt, you won’t regret it!

Bag making in full swing at our shop in Dam Street!
This one is a customer make and is brilliantly made from our Moda quality cotton.
Using good branded fabric always makes a difference to the sewing process and the finished result 😊

This wonderful quilt has been made by one of our talented customers from fabric and pattern from our business in Dan Street.
So impressive with the choice of bold colours and the half hexie design and what a gorgeous gift!

One of our lovely customers brought her finished panel that she had bought from us a little while ago to show us this week.
We love it when we can ‘show and tell’ and this was no exception.
Our Seurat panel has almost sold out but what she had done with lots of quilting is amazing!
The panel:/picture has taken on a 3 D effect and come to life.
Amazing work 😊

Back by popular demand, our 1-1 ‘getting started to machine sew’ tuition at our shop in Dam Street are starting from next week!
Let us take the fear out of starting to sew on your new machine and give you confidence to start your sewing journey.
We are the local Janome machine retailer for this area so you can ‘try before you buy’ and make sure you are starting with the best machine for you or maybe you already have a machine but not sure on its potential.
