A lady once came into my shop in the most wonderful colourful, fabulous outfit. She must have been maybe late 60s.

I told her how incredible she looked!
She told me that she had this fear of society’s ’old lady uniform’ and that all the older women in her family when she was younger, as soon as they hit 40, felt the need to just wear bland colours and in turn, sort of faded into the background.

She said she had decided to actively fight against that attitude. ❤️ And I LOVE that!

I for one will absolutely be aging disgracefully and I hope you will join me.

Getting older is a privilege and it should be celebrated.
