I’m back… sort of 🤍

If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quieter over the summer, this is why.

I’ve still been here and working on orders whenever I could, but for the most part, I decided to prioritise making memories and being present with my children this summer.

With Gracie starting secondary school next week, I really wanted to make the most of our time together before another chapter begins.

Time for some honesty though…taking a step back from the business hasn’t always been easy. Posting less means being seen less, which ultimately means fewer orders.

I’ve definitely got in my own head over the summer and questioned this business a lot!

So that’s where I’ve been… making memories, working whenever I could and trying to find a balance.

Thank you for supporting my small business and sticking with me over the summer. It honestly means the world! 🤍

3 whole years of my bestie girl, Evelyn 🤍

This time around, I’ve tried to cherish every moment even the tough ones because I know just how quickly it all goes by.

Watching the world through your eyes, seeing the wonder in the smallest things and following you on every little adventure is something I’ll treasure.

You are also the reason I started Snuggle Bug Knits 🤍

I wanted to create keepsakes that can be treasured for years to come, because childhood is so fleeting. One day, the tiny clothes, the little memories and the things that feel so ordinary right now will mean everything.

I keep forgetting to take photos of my makes before they get posted, but I’m trying to be more present this summer and weve been busy making lots of lovely memories as a family 🥹☀️

Wait until the end 😂☀️

A little reminder that if you’re a mum trying to keep the kids entertained, keep the house functioning AND run a small business during the summer holidays…

you’re doing enough 🤍

I’m trying to remind myself of the same thing.

The orders will get finished. The messages will get answered (eventually). The content will still be there in September.

But these six weeks with my three won’t come around again.

So yes, there will be screen time. There will be days where we do absolutely nothing. There will be arguments, forgotten to-do lists, a LOT of “just give me five minutes” and more chaos!

There will also be a lot less Instagram and that’s okay.

The algorithm can wait. These six weeks won’t 🤍

July wasn’t quite what I expected…

A little look back at this month, the challenges of running a small business, being a mum of three and trying to balance everything that comes with everyday life 🤍

This month has had some lovely moments, some exciting things happening behind the scenes, but also some challenges too.

I’ve found myself struggling with motivation, keeping up with social media and questioning things more than usual. But amongst that I’m still so grateful for every order, every message, every person who continues to support my little business. Thank you 💛
