They say diamonds are formed under pressure, and looking at this, I finally believe it.

​This isn't just a dress to me; it’s a map of my first few months in the UK. If I’m honest, there were days when the walls felt too close and the "newness" felt overwhelming. I was struggling to find my footing, to find me in a place that felt so foreign.

​So, I put all that uncertainty into these stitches. This was the first piece I ever made here. It was my quiet rebellion against the struggle. And then? It became my bridge. This dress opened doors I didn’t even know existed and turned a season of survival into a season of opportunity.

As I look at this piece, I don’t just see beads and stitches; I see the moment my courage met my craft in a place I didn't yet call home. May this dress continue to be the key that unlocks even greater doors, turning every challenge into a new silhouette and every struggle into a masterpiece.
