Xquisite Boutique - Legal & Company Policies
At Xquisite Boutique we care about protecting you and your rights, and therefore we have compiled this basic policy list stating some of the main policies we carry out in our shop and throughout the business. All products sold at Xquisite Boutique are inspected in person to help ensure that at the time of purchase they are:
of satisfactory quality
fit
for their intended purpose
as described
As the primary product category sold by Xquisite Boutique is clothing, footwear and accessories, it should be expected that the items bought from Xquisite Boutique will be subject to wear and tear after use by the consumer and this can vary from item to item. If the product bought is at fault, then a consumer has the right to a replacement or a credit of the amount of that item in an exchange. Another alternative depending on circumstances is a reduction in purchase price. Factors affecting whether or not such remedies are suitable involve; how long ago the goods were purchased, whether the goods were worn and for how long, if the goods were damaged by consumer misusing or accidentally damaging the goods, and if the consumer knew about the fault before purchase. All rejections and actions against faulty goods must usually be undertaken within 30 days of purchase, and with a receipt present or another proof of purchase and date. At Xquisite Boutique we attempt to display all prices clearly for all goods and mark sale items or faulty goods appropriately. Any additional costs will be made clear before purchase and consumer consent will be required. If a deposit on an item is required, then both parties must do their utmost to keep to the terms of the contact, but in the event that the consumer should withdraw their interest in the sale, then no refund of the deposit is necessary, unless stated in writing. Only if it is at the fault of Xquisite Boutique that the sale is terminated will a refund be necessary. If a product fault or defect is pointed out before the sale, and the consumer is content to continue with the transaction, then there is no obligation for Xquisite Boutique to remedy any faults later brought to attention regarding the same issue or subsequent/relating issues. Operating both as an on-premises and distance seller, we offer a returns policy to mail orders or online orders. Such a policy is as follows; In addition to your legal rights, we also allow you to return goods if you simply change your mind. Please return the unused goods to us with the original till receipt within 14 days and we will offer you an exchange or a credit note. At Xquisite Boutique we want the best possible outcome for all parties, and are willing to consider any alternatives depending on circumstances! Any further enquiries regarding policies stated above or otherwise can be made in-store, or at www.xquisiteboutique.co.uk . Alternatively, you can phone 0151 220 0003.
