Well it’s finally finished! Hand carved maple scabbard clad in Italian Softee from with bronze chape (end bit) from . Took longer than planned for various reasons but it came out pretty well in the end!! Made up with the colour match with the handle!

That vintage jack plane in the middle was a fortuitous eBay find nearly ten years ago now and it’s still my favourite tool in my shop! Absolutely stunning condition complete with original box 😍

The answer to the ‘what is it’ post - it’s a hand cranked skiver! This is the ‘before’ post, I’ll post an ‘after’ picture when it’s all cleaned up! The only name on it is ‘Supreme’ but the S is missing (I don’t know how lol!), if anyone has any info@on the brand I’d love to know more!

A little something I threw together last night! My nephew just turned 2 and he’s rather fond of his big sister’s pink handbag I made (for her 2nd birthday) and I figured he deserved something a little more boyish! So here’s his mini-man bag! Loosely based on the traditional mail bag style with the heavier stitching and straps mounted on the rear as opposed to the gusset.

Practicing my Mystery Braid today! First attempt did not go so well 😂 The leather is too lightweight on its own so I doubled it up and stitched along each strand to make sure it doesn’t come unstuck! C’est voila - the mystery braid 💁🏼‍♂️

The insides of the Custom Hobonichi Techo Journal case. The customer required lots of pockets so that’s what they got! However, when all those pockets get full I imagine it might be quite tricky to lay the journal open flat and work comfortably... enter the magnets! With magnets down the spine of the big case and the smaller journal cover, the customer is able to remove the book without any effort whatsoever!
