SET:UP Camp with DSTRS, AllTerrain95, & Salomon 

It’s all happening outdoors. You only need to SET:UP Camp. That’s the thinking behind the magic of the outdoor gathering in Cumbria, aptly named SET:UP Camp, by DSTRS and AllTerrain95. United in their shared love of all things outdoors, the two collectives came together to turn their passion into an all-encompassing community event where music, wellness, food, and adventure culminated in an unforgettable weekend.
 
Throughout the final day, a series of workshops created in collaboration with SEVENSTORE and Salomon Sportstyle provided opportunities to create and learn.
 
The first of two workshops focused on Plant Identification. Kamil, DSTR’s resident ecologist, led attendees through a reading of an ancient woodland through the plants that inhabit it. In the second workshop, DSTRS provided the skills to bring nature indoors with the creation of self-contained ecosystems: terrariums – giving attendees a small piece of the weekend to take home.

SPACES: SET:UP Camp

Every SPACE is unique. Personality and experience transform a house into a home, and the same qualities make an individual or shared SPACE precisely the same. With intention and purpose, the broadest of physical spaces can be transformed into something truly special. Naturally, there’s no SPACE quite as broad as the great outdoors. Biodiverse in fauna and flora, terrain and palette, the great beauty of the outdoors and the feelings it elicits make for a natural evolution of the SPACES concept, realised by DSTRS and AllTerrain95 with SET:UP Camp.

Born of a shared love of the outdoors and community building through learning, creativity, and culture, SET:UP Camp transformed a slice of the British Lake District into an IRL experience celebrating adventure and discovery. The three-day gathering conceived by DSTRS and AllTerrain95 brought together a spectrum of outdoors-rooted interests at the heart of both collectives.

Built around several cultural pillars – including outdoor activity, music, wellness, food, and style – the shared SPACE, set on some of the North West’s most breathtaking landscapes, built an environment and centred an experience on connection: a place where people can spend time away from the distractions of everyday life, together.

SET:UP Camp demonstrated a new dimension to SPACES; away from brick and mortar, studio lights, the heat of a kitchen, or the busyness of retail. Through its chosen environment and the connections nurtured within, it showcased what truly lives at the heart of all good SPACES – the qualities that separate a house from a home: passion, experience, community, personality, and style.

Every city is unique. The people and stories that fill them, the architecture, history, and attractions – no two are the same, and in PLACES, SEVENSTORE highlights the places of intrigue, interest, and spectacle that give them their cultural magnetism. Within this intentionally analogue visual series – achieved by combining found items like business cards, tickets, postcards, maps, and trinkets – the cities that SEVENSTORE visits are points of inspiration, exploration, and discovery.
 
For the first edition of its new series, PLACES – SEVENSTORE heads to Bologna, a city where medieval streets meet some of Italy’s most important cultural institutions. Through analogue curation and creation, pieces of each city return home to the North West. Bologna was no exception: an array of unique memorabilia and souvenirs, from maps and books to postcards, napkins, and all manner of other trinkets, were collected and utilised to translate the city’s energy into something as tangible as it is physical.
 
Renowned as the gastronomic heart of Italy thanks to its incredible cuisine, Bologna is a melting pot of culture. Within its historic centre, breathtaking architecture wrapped in a beautiful terracotta palette gives the city texture and depth, drawing individuals to explore its tapestry of streets. It is a city where the old and new exist without much separation. Bologna offers a natural starting point for PLACES: a visual guide to the architecture, culture and details that make cities worth exploring.

Stone Island’s conceptual masterclass in minimalism, Ghost, first arrived in 2011. Characterised by monochromatic palettes that once ranged from bright red to deep black, Ghost is Stone Island’s extreme interpretation of traditional camouflage.
