I have been thinking long and hard over my maternity about our brand. What it means, our signature style?
It can be so so hard finding time to design whilst all the added extras of running a business, not forgetting the daily life of 3 kids, standing at the side of the footy pitch worrying about finding the time to release a new style.
Sometimes life gets in the way and we release something were not even too keen on ourselves.
At the end of the day we are a slow fashion brand and I have taken my eye off the ball a lot trying to compete with a fast fashion world where I will never win.
We are a very small fish in a huge ocean. So we are going back to roots. Where we started, the reason why I started this brand. So there may be fewer styles released however what we do will have thought and time making sure it represents us. Susan Carys. Designing clothes I myself would wear.
Think classy not tacky, with a slight edgyness and one hell of a hint of sexiness!
