Although Spring seemed to be hiding under the duvet today 💨 it’ll grace us with its presence soon! 🌞

One of my favourite poems captures this time of year perfectly — ‘Spring Resprung’ by the wonderful Liverpool poet, Roger McGough.

I highly recommend taking a look to get some much-needed hope and optimism. You can find it in his collection ‘As Far as I Know’ (published by Penguin Books).

I had a great visit today to The Callister Trust Gardens Callister Trust on Slatey Road, Oxton, where Cathy was very generous with her time in showing me round.

A fantastic, tranquil and important community space, made possible by volunteers. There was also a well attended art class happening while I was there.

I’m very much looking forward to seeing how the gardens develop throughout 2026, bring on Spring! 🌸
