Textiles At The Weir We provide a variety of textile based day courses including hand and machine embroidery, felting, embellishing, fabric painting and printing.

Come and visit a beautiful area of Monmouthshire and learn a new skill in a cosy, country workshop. Textiles at The Weir is a studio based at a working small holding on the outskirts of Llanddewi Rhydderch, a small village just outside the market town of Abergavenny. Our courses cater for all abilities from total beginners to the more experienced people looking for new challenges and techniques. A

ll courses are taught in small groups up to six with lots of opportunities for one-to-one tuition. The aim is for everyone to produce piece of work by the end of the day.

This ties in with Cric Open Studios as each arrangement reflects a different artist. The Church and churchyard will be full of beautiful floral arrangements, 21 in all. It is halfway between Venue 23, Chapel Cottage Studio and Venue 24, Textiles at The Weir so there is plenty to see in the village of Llanddewi Rhydderch bank holiday weekend. Well worth a visit!
