We have been really quiet on here… almost as quiet as Tal-y-Llyn this morning. Truth is, we don’t know if or how we can carry on with Our Outdoor Generation 😞

Brexit hit our little company pretty hard as our base products, the awesome Tees and hoodies, come from Denmark before being printed by our lovely local printers . Import costs have risen so much that it barely makes sense to do another preorder.

We have started looking into alternatives but we don’t want to compromise on our company ethics. Our products need to remain 100% Fairtrade and Organic, with a transparent supply chain, preferably supporting local business. With so many families hit hard by the pandemic as well as rising costs for essentials, we don’t feel we can increase the price of our products either.

We welcome our customers’ thoughts on this as we don’t want to give up the business. We truly believe in encouraging people to be part of an outdoor generation and to buy ethical products from small businesses. We love our designs from and the quality of the products we sell. We’re having a few calm days as a family, regrouping and focusing on what’s important. Seeing the wonder in our world is definitely one of those important things.

We love this time of year, there are so many different colours, smells and sights! Caterpillars are getting ready to pupate before winter like the Elephant Hawk Moth Ruben found today. There are fruits and berries to pick both for humans and birds, fungi and mushrooms are about aplenty. Make sure you know exactly what you pick though as these edible Blushers are almost identical to the poisonous Panther Cap!

How is your going? Last year we did a nature adventure every single day but this year is proving a bit more challenging. The big bundle of fluff featuring in these pictures has a lot to answer for! As she grows bigger we will definitely make up for what we missed these past few weeks though and this girl will become the best adventure buddy ever. She loves water, had her first trip to the beach yesterday and nothing fazes her. Do you have an adventure dog? Or a different pet who comes everywhere with you? Let us know in the comments ⬇️

We’ve been super busy recently and not had much time to promote much. We even missed even though the theme this year was Nature! It’s exactly what we’re all about but sometimes we need to focus on our own mental health and family which means less time for our business. Thank you for being patient with us ❤️
We finished off last week with our first MTB race in over a year and it was amazing! Seeing our friends, being outside all weekend, being active was just what we needed. Nathan wore his Air hoodie for practice and if you look carefully you’ll see mum in the background filming in her Air T-shirt and hoodie. Great picture by 📸

Today is Earth Day 2021, with this year’s theme “Restore Our Earth”. To celebrate the beauty of our natural world, here are a few of our favourite pictures.

Will you join us in taking positive action for our world? After all, we spend a lot of time enjoying our sport in the mountains, hills and woodlands. It doesn’t take much to give back a little: maybe do a litter pick at your local trails this weekend? You’ll find loads of resources over . Or a beach clean? Or start using Bottle for Life and use their refillable bike maintenance products? Maybe you’d like to try eating a vegetarian or vegan meal once in a while? Or perhaps swap plastic water bottles for refillable ones? Every action helps, however small.
