Today has been all about the Barn Dancer website. After dropping my son off at school, I headed to a meeting with Jonathan from and over a coffee we agreed that my first priority was to photograph my latest Barn Dancer Cowhide Collection so that we can feature these one of a kind Clutch Bags, Purses and Keyrings on my website as soon as. So, I headed home, got my camera out and photographed them on the very kitchen table I made them on.

Wow! I wasn't expecting such a big response to The Barn Dancer Tote 🫢🏻 I'm supper proud of my work, but having so many of you get in touch personally to say how much you like my new design is just the best feeling.
You may have seen in my stories that the black denim I've used for this design is from a designer mill in Italy. The quality of it is unreal, however I did purchase this as the "end of line" which means I'll never be able to source this exact fabric again. This means that this bag and the further 15 Barn Dancer Tote's I'm currently crafting have to be a limited edition.
My plan was to take all 16 with me to a new audience at next week, however some of you have been in touch and two have already found homes ❀️
Whilst sewing up 30 straps at 11pm last night, I was thinking to myself that it doesn't feel quite right that the people that have supported me and helped me get to the stage of being able to take Barn Dancer to this major event might just miss out.
I think I need to take at least 10 with me to Farm Fest, so that leaves me with 4 Barn Dancer Totes that could potentially go to someone reading this caption. There's a chance I'm overthinking this because I'm putting my heart and soul into Barn Dancer but... if you would like to be one of only 16 people to own this bag or have any questions about it, please send me a message directly this week βœ‰οΈ

This bag right here has literally brought tears to my eyes. They say good things take time and preparing the first Barn Dancer Tote ready to be launched took its sweet time. I have seven other tote bags to prove it πŸ˜… But each version lead me to this one. A bag I am so proud to sew a Barn Dancer label into πŸͺ‘
While I was stitching this heavyweight premium Italian denim, I was intentionally applying techniques I picked up while on a denim jeans master class in London a few years ago.
Because I have made this bag to last, I was so important that I didn't jump on any sort of trend with this design. I also had to select fabrics that will not be going out of style any time soon.
So, after sketches, trails and gathering feedback from just about everyone I've seen over the last 3 months, here it is.
The Barn Dancer Tote πŸ₯Ή I'm currently sewing up a further 15 to take with me to next week. Of course, each one will be made entirely by me on the kitchen table on our small farm on the side of a Welsh hill 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
P.S I've always said that my biggest achievement was being Powys 2007 High Jump Champion, but this bag may just be my best work yet πŸ˜‰
