Inspired by my childhood growing up in Croatia 🇭🇷 and summers spent by the coast of our beautiful crystal-clear, azure-blue Adriatic Sea 🌊, playing in the shallow water and collecting sea shells and star fish that the sea washed ashore, getting stung by small jellyfish 🪼 and accidentally stepping on the sea urchins because I forgot to wear my jelly sandals….

Sound of the sea lapping, crickets 🦗 chirping and pine trees aroma drifting through the gentle breeze….

Summer memories perfectly captured in our New Sea Shells linen collection available now online.

The collection is made in finest natural eco-friendly biodegradable linen, featuring the Grosgrain handle strap made of Berisfords grosgrain ribbon woven with yarns made from recycled plastic bottles.

I was born in the beautiful Croatia, with its rugged, mountainous, and highly indented coast that is home to over 1,300 islands, with an exceptionally dense and popular island archipelago.

The Adriatic Sea and its crystal-clear, deep-blue waters are renowned as a premier destination for European summer holidays, sailing, and cultural heritage.

And although we are very proud and grateful for being one of Europe’s most popular holiday destination in recent times, the challenges of overtourism and its negative impact on our beautiful beaches and sea, fragile ecosystems, historical landmarks, and wildlife are increasingly causing their severe wear and tear.

As the visitors to our beautiful country this summer, you too can take action by staying informed about overtourism issues, making conscious travel decisions that help distribute tourist traffic, and engaging in sustainable behaviors to minimize their negative impact. Simple actions like visiting at off-peak times, respecting cultural norms, reducing waste, and supporting local businesses can make a difference.

Soaking up every last bit of those Bank Holiday memories..... gorgeous sky, London in bloom, colours and the air heavy with the scent of blossom everywhere, refreshing drinks and long walks by the Thames. 🌸🥂

This was the first weekend in a very long time when I actually did no work. I traded my laptop and desk for the river breeze and my to-do list for a slow wander through the city and I found something I haven’t had in a while: stillness.

It’s amazing how a few days of intentional rest can completely shift your perspective. I’m feeling rested, recharged, deeply grateful for this little reset and returning to my desk today feeling replenished and inspired by all those spring colours. 🌷
Now, it’s back to work with a full heart and a clear mind! ✨
