As part of our mission to eliminate unnecessary waste and keep nappies affordable, we are SO pleased to announce B-Circular 💚

B-Circular allows you to send us any nappies which we sell or have ever sold, including previous versions, and even including nappies you have purchased from other shops or received as gifts.

For nappies received under this scheme, they must meet our B-Circular criteria. We will check each one and give you a gift voucher for the value accordingly.

B-Circular criteria for payment

1. Each item must be clean except for light staining.

2. All fastenings and elastic must be functional.

3. Any PUL must be intact and undamaged (i.e. no holes & no signs of delamination or 'white-out').

4. You must sign a statement that no item has been washed over 60°, been in contact with napisan, chlorine bleach or oxy bleach of a concentration higher than 25% in any wash.

5. For wool items, a shrinkage check will be made as well as a check for holes.

Once each item has been checked, within 14 days of receipt, your gift voucher will be issued via email.

If any items do not meet the criteria, they will be recycled locally, or you may pay postage for them to be returned to you.

Items meeting our criteria will be thoroughly cleaned one more time by B-eco-me before listing for sale to be loved once again by another family.

This is not *just* a holiday cottage.
This is a cottage which breathes magic and mystery through the ancient woodland it is set in, to those lucky few who come to share in it.
A place to immerse yourself in the wildlife of Anglesey as your feet softly crunch on the wood chip path through the woods.
Watched only by wild red squirrels, hedgehogs, the occasional friendly buzzard , bat, or owl.
Inside you find a warm welcome and a beautiful cottage to call yours, at least for now.

Later, you build a fire in the log burner and curl up on the sofa to watch the sun set, or cook a meal in the kitchen that's so well stocked even the gourmets amongst you will be satisfied.

You smell the fresh herbs which hang from the ceiling and hear only the faint sound of cows mooing to lull you, your favourite drink and a good book into the cosiest of evenings.
Tomorrow you might turn up the powerful Bluetooth speaker to enjoy your favourite tunes (with no neighbours to worry about in this remote location).

Sleep inevitably will be sound, with the sublimely comfortable beds made naturally from the base up with solid uk oak; uk temperature regulating wool, coconut fibre & organic cotton mattress; and finally sheets of silk-like natural eucalyptus tencel to envelope you and your loved one(s).

At breakfast you might see pheasants outside as you look out over the rolling hills and fields towards the 6000 year old burial mound 'Bryn Celli Ddu'.

You might take a walk or a drive to see one of the many beaches, mountains, historical landmarks or mouthwatering eateries.

10 nappies hang by the fire (or dehumidifier) on the new hanger,

I like to think it's Daddy who knits something stripy in the natural undyed yarn from different sheep,

Perhaps they'll use the free Disana wool scraps I threw in as patches...

Very pleased to hear there will be a hemp/cotton booster available with their new pocket nappy - hoping this will be accessible in high street shops 👍

I love keeping up with the newest developments in the industry, for my library friends , and of course all of you!

I asked tough questions about the fibres and Mio explained they prioritise accessibility over higher prices from recycled and organic fabrics for now.

Nappy Confusion 🤯

When most of our parents, the baby boomers bought into disposable nappies, society's collective knowledge of cloth nappies fell out of use.

Cloth nappies became niche.
The technology of fabrics and designs improved and many (!) new types became available.

The result?

Widespread confusion!
& an off-putting lack of reliability in modern styles...

Now we know we have a waste problem.
Many would say, also a guilt problem.

Why?

1. Parents do NOT need the extra guilt of an overflowing landfill bin.
2. We also do NOT need the headache of trying to work out how to make cloth nappies work on our own.
The latter often ending with exhausted parents simply giving up and going back to option one.

What can you do?

Consult a nappy library via or an expert retailer like us.
We have the experience and we want to help as many people as possible to make the switch.

Truth time.

I never enjoyed living in London,
since I was a child.

I now have a 4 and a 6-year-old, and I want them to grow up healthy, green minded, and see nature as it is meant to be.

As a student, I lived in Bangor, North Wales.
I learned that whilst I loved the rivers and beaches with a passion, I was not good at kayaking.

🏊

I saw and coveted a slower pace of life.

I loved it up there.

So, 19 years later, this month I am moving to North Wales from South London with my children
in search of a greener cleaner life.

My eco shop continues to grow and I take it with me to Anglesey.
Locals have told me they are excited for the opportunities I am bringing with me.

Although I am sad to leave the community in South London, I am excited for upcoming literal greener pastures.

Currently My days are filled with moving plans, Welsh Duolingo and visits to my storage unit(s)...

But soon I will be in Anglesey 😁
If you haven't heard of it, I encourage you to look it up.
It's an incredibly beautiful place, (and relatively cheap as a holiday destination)

I am so so grateful for all of your support thus far, and I hope you will continue to follow B-eco-me in its next chapter as I continue in my personal and biz journeys to a more eco life.

This summer there may be short periods when the shop is closed while I sort everything out, but worry not. Plans are in motion for even more beautiful and better things.
