It takes a lot of energy to grow, manufacture and transport cotton t-shirt—but did you know that the most energy goes into caring for it?

One load of washing uses 40 gallons of water. One load of drying uses 5 times more energy than washing. In fact, skipping the ironing and drying of your t-shirt, saves a third of its carbon footprint.

There are things we can do to save energy and water.
- Try to look for textiles made from recycled or organic cotton.
- Consider shopping secondhand.
- Wash clothes less and line dry to save resources.
- Instead of throwing them away in the end of their life, donate, recycle, or use them as a cleaning rags.

Small actions can make a big difference.

Did you know that Organic Cotton make up less than 1% of the 22.7 million metric tons of cotton produced worldwide?

Cheaper garments and the public’s willingness to buy boosted global production from 1994 to 2014 by 400% to about 80 billion garments each year. This dramatic shift in clothing consumption over the last 20 years, driven by large corporations and the trend of fast fashion, has coast the environment, the health of farmers and driven questionable human labor practices. It also turned fashion into the second-largest polluter in the world after oil.

Caring for the world and the people we share it with is a life choice. By choosing organic over conventional cotton you have the purchasing power to influence brands, manufacturers and even farmers. So let’s make the world a better place together.

В таджикский офис британской коммерческой компании (выращивания и переработка органического хлопка) требуется менеджер соцсетей и маркетинга.

Обязанности:
* Social Media Manager (SMM) - Управление соцсецях (Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, Facebook).
* Разработка маркетинг-плана и следование ему
* Ведение веб-сайтов (создание лендингов, написание новостей, статей)
* Организация участия в выставках и конференциях (начиная от разработки концепции и постановки ТЗ на дизайн стенда и включая все орг.вопросы)
* Разработка маркетинговых презентаций и их актуализация: корпоративная презентация, отраслевые презентации, продуктовые и пр.
* Перевод и подготовка печатных материалов – подготовка текстов, разработка структуры материалов: даташитов, application notes, продуктовых лифлетов, брошюр и др. на основе корпоративных материалов
* Разработка видеороликов: написание сценариев, текстов, сбор материалов (видео имиджевые, продуктовые, корпоративные ролики, application notes и пр.)

Требования к кандидату:
* Возраст 21 - 35 лет
* Опыт работы в b2b маркетинге не менее 2х лет (в отрасли хлопководство, агрономии или текстиля приветствуется)
* Высшее образование (техническое/маркетинг)
* Английский язык – свободное владение - обязательно
* Опыт написания пресс-релизов текстов, сообщений в соц.сетях, блогах, работы со СМИ
* Знание основ маркетинга, интернет-маркетинга и SMM
* Владение графическими и видео редакторами
