Maui Wildfires: This is a challenging time for many people who were forced from their homes and have experienced significant losses due to the Hawaii wildfires. Many people are looking for help and trying to locate loved ones, while others are actively trying to find ways to help. As we assess the full scope of the damage, here’s what you need to know about our response and the available support:

If you are looking for a missing loved one, our disaster team might be able to help. Please call 1-800 RED CROSS and provide as much detail as possible to assist us in potentially locating your missing loved one.

➡️ Where can I find help?
Deadly wildfires have prompted massive evacuations on the island and left roads inaccessible. Shelters are open and welcome anyone needing food, water, a safe place to stay, and other support. You can find open shelters by visiting redcross.org/shelters, calling 1-800 RED CROSS, or via our Emergency app.
➡️ How is the Red Cross helping?
Our disaster teams are working closely with local, state and federal officials to support hundreds of people in shelters who were forced from their homes since Tuesday.
➡️ Can the Red Cross help rescue people?
If you're in an emergency situation, you should call 911 to connect with trained professionals who can help. During a disaster, our primary focus is to ensure people have safe shelter, food, emotional support, and other essential resources.

There are two ways you can help people affected by fires, floods and countless other crises across the country:
