Drake Reveals Who His Favorite Rapper To Perform With Is

Drake has collabed with a lot of people. It's only inevitable given how long and storied his career is at this point. However, who is this favorite rapper to perform alongside? Drake answered that question during a recent show on the It's All a Blur tour. "I was shooting a music video with my favorite rapper to rap with," Drake began while performing in Vegas. By the way, I got a lot of respect for a lot of rappers. But I got one guy, he's my favorite to rap with on any song. His name is Rick Ross. That's my brother. And we were in the Palms Hotel overlooking Vegas and I was saying I wonder if I'm ever going to be big enough to play these huge arenas that I was looking down on. And hey, here we are."

Over the years, Drake and Ross have collabed on 14 songs. The first of these was the 2009 DJ Khaled track "Fed Up", on which both Drake and Ross featured. A year later, Ross featured Drake on "Aston Martin Music". Most of their collabs have been Drake features on Ross-led songs. However, Ross also have a few features on Drake tracks as well. 2019's "Money in the Grave" peaked at #7. Their only collab to chart higher than that is 2021's "Lemon Pepper Freestyle", which hit #3. What's your favorite Drake/Rick Ross collab? Let us know in the comments.

Speaking on collabing with Drake, one person is very excited for his upcoming album, For All The Dogs. During a live stream, Nicki begged Drake to drop For All The Dogs, the album on which she has a feature. “Drake, I’m not going to tell you one more time. The Barbz want the album! He can be Champagne Papi, I don’t care, Papi, The Barbz want the album.”

Fans were disappointed when the new project didn’t drop late last month. In fact, backlash was significant enough that Drizzy had to address during his current tour. “I know everybody’s upset because I didn’t drop my album last night,” he told the crowd. “I didn’t say it was dropping last night,” he reminded fans. “So don’t be mad at me. I just said it was coming soon.” No release date for the album has been announced yet. Furthermore, few details have been revealed about Minaj’s track on the album. Additionally, Drake has said that the album will be a return to “old Drake”.

ASAP Rocky Says His Second Child With Rihanna’s Name Will Be Revealed Soon

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna recently welcomed their second child, another son, into the world, and fans are already speculating on the little one’s name. If you recall, it took general audiences a full year to find out their first kid’s name, honoring the Wu-Tang legend RZA. However, at least from what a TMZ paparazzi captured, it seems like we might not have to wait that long to find out baby number two’s name. Moreover, the pap caught up with him on a night out in West Hollywood on Wednesday (August 23) and asked him for his new bundle of joy’s name. The New York MC simply replied with “Coming soon!” with a wide smile, so maybe they’re taking a different approach to reveals this time around.

Furthermore, at least we already know of a certain pattern that the family seems to follow. ASAP Rocky’s real name is Rakim, a tribute to the pioneering hip-hop icon, and Rihanna’s real name is Robyn. RZA is also named after a genre star and starts with “R,” so people took to social media to speculate and try to guess what the next one could be. Reggie for Redman, perhaps, or Rick of Slick fame… never before have people been so dead-set on scrolling through a “rappers whose names start with ‘R'” list.

Regardless of that speculation, there’s still plenty of rumors and reports to chew on besides the baby’s name. For example, a new PEOPLE report suggested that, according to an alleged insider, Rihanna feels her family is “complete” after her second child’s birth. Her and Rocky must be so busy with their careers and endeavors, and that might influence that feeling of satisfaction with two young kids on your hands. Still, the couple hasn’t shared anything about their little miracle yet, so any comments on it are purely speculative at this point.

Meanwhile, with both looking forward to album releases (hopefully dropping soon), we’ll see how parenthood impacts their lyricism and style. The A$AP Mob spitter is closer to that finish line than RiRi is, at least as of writing this article, but things could change quite fast. All we can do is sit, wait, and wish the power couple well in their family life. For more news and the latest updates on ASAP Rocky and Rihanna, come back to HNHH.

Drake Reflects On LeBron James Believing In Him When No One Else Would

Drake is easily one of the biggest artists in the world. Overall, his tour is making a whole lot of money. Moreover, there have been some exceptionally famous people making their way to his shows. On Monday night, LeBron James and his oldest son Bronny showed up to the party. Bronny and LeBron got to walk Drizzy to the stage, which must have been an incredible sight to see. After all, LeBron is easily the most famous person to get to do this thus far. If you live in Los Angeles, these things are probably to be expected at this point.

LeBron and Drake have been friends for a very long time now. The NBA superstar has always supported Drizzy and his music. Additionally, the Canadian artist has always made it a point to go watch Bron play. This mutual respect has lasted over a decade. On Monday, during the concert, Drake decided to pay homage to his friend. Below, you can see a speech in which he spoke about just how supportive of a guy LeBron really is. It was a truly great speech to hear, especially when you think of the history behind it.

“The gentleman that walked me to stage tonight is my brother,” he said. “In 2009, when nobody believed in anything I had going on, that same guy showed up to a release party for a mixtape that was called So Far Gone. He came all the way to Toronto, Canada to support me, when I was trying to figure out how I can live my dreams.” The crowd was loving every second of the speech, and rightfully so. It must have been an incredible atmosphere and if you’re LeBron, it was probably a great feeling.

Let us know if you have been to the Its All A Blur tour or plan on going to a future date. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the music word. We will always be sure to keep you informed.

Kanye West’s Twitter Return In The Works As Social Media Expresses Concern For Bianca Censori

When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were publicly navigating their rocky divorce, it seemed as though the “Flashing Lights” artist would never be able to move on from the socialite. As she explored romance with Pete Davidson, her estranged husband engaged in radical displays of affection to win Kardashian back. He eventually changed tactics to unleashing hatred on the new couple, along with anyone else he felt like attacking. After taking some time away from the spotlight, West resurfaced late last year with a new woman, Bianca Censori. The couple’s avant-garde outfits have made them the subject of much discourse, including how controlling the Chicago native is over what his romantic partners wear.

“There are multiple scenes with him throwing out all of the clothes that she said she loved, with her crying saying this was very difficult,” Australian Association of Psychologists director Carly Dober told DailyMail when reflecting on Kimye’s tumultuous marriage. “It is not clear how much of this was dramatized for the cameras and viewers. Still, the fact remains that Kanye and Kim both publicly stated he had very clear ideas of how Kim should be dressing and her style did change throughout the relationship,” she added. Of course, his marriage to Censori is kept far more secretive, so it’s hard to say exactly what she’s feeling. Nevertheless, social media continues to discuss the often sombre expression on her face while out in revealing looks.

Speaking of social media, Twitter/X’s new CEO, Linda Yaccarino spoke about the Yeezy founder’s expected return to the platform after his ban for his aforementioned online antics. “Kanye who hasn’t rejoined the platform yet but is planning to do so will operate within the very specific policies that we have established that we’re clear on and everyone listening on Spaces can access themselves,” she clarified, as per HipHopDX.

“We also have to remember what’s at the core of free expression. You might not agree with what everyone’s saying,” Yaccarino reminded listeners. “We want to make it a healthy debate and discourse but free expression at its core will really only survive when someone you don’t agree with says something you don’t agree with… So deciding certain people are good or bad are not a universal thing.” Do you think that Kanye West’s return to Twitter will result in more chaos for the father of four? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Bianca Censori & Kanye West Wear Monochrome Looks In Rome Before Travis Scott Concert

During their marriage, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were perhaps best known for two things – their four adorable children, and their often avant-garde fashion moments. Now, the rapper has moved on to a new bride, Bianca Censori. He’s notably been able to experiment with styling her in even more outlandish ways. Throughout the first week of August, we’ve seen them enjoying each other’s company in beautiful Italy. While the Australian has left little to the imagination in plenty of sheer garments, her husband’s feet have been hitting the pavement sans his usual sock shoes.

It seems that Ye and Censori aren’t in Europe just to show off their obscure outfits. Rather, the Yeezy founder joined Travis Scott on stage at his first-ever live performance of his new UTOPIA album earlier today (August 7). Beforehand, he and his architect wife were photographed by the paparazzi. They packed on plenty of bootylicious PDA while hanging out in monochromatic styles before the concert.

Photos that can be found here show Bianca Censori once again flaunting her hourglass figure in an all-white ensemble. She wore beige tights over her short brown hair and layered white pantyhose over a tank top in the same colour to perfectly sculpt her body. The foreign beauty often wears ultra-pointy heels with her fashion statements, and today was no exception. As for West, he maintained more modesty in an oversized black button-up and pants.

At one point, cameras caught the 46-year-old changing his shirt while standing near a van, seemingly slipping into a fresh black tee before surprising his “Piss On Your Grave” collaborator’s audience at Circus Maximus in Rome. If you’re wondering how you can stream Travis Scott’s UTOPIA concert at home, you can find more info at the link below. For more hip-hop/pop culture news updates, check back in with HNHH later.

How the cost-of-living crisis is fuelling job quits

Rising prices and interest rates are pushing some workers to move around the labour market, rather than dig in their heels at their current employers.

The ongoing cost-of-living crisis means workers are feeling the pinch – as prices rise, salaries aren’t going as far as they once did. Typically, in times of financial stress, employees stay in their current roles, collect a stable income and ride out the economic storm.

But amid soaring inflation more employees are leaving their jobs – or are strongly considering doing so.

In a June 2023 survey of 53,912 global workers by PwC, 26% said they intend to quit their job in the next year. Much of this is driven by the cost-of-living crisis, which is especially acute in the UK: 47% of UK workers said they had little to no savings left at the end of each month, with a further 15% also stating their household struggles to pay its bills.

Contrary to some past patterns, this financial precarity is pushing workers to move around the labour market – and in some cases, leave it entirely.

‘People may vote with their feet’

During periods of stress and economic uncertainty, people tend to cling on to what’s familiar to them – including their jobs, says Dana Peterson, chief economist at global economic think-tank The Conference Board, based in New York.

For example, the 2008 recession saw 2.6 million jobs lost in the US – and it was followed by record-low quit rates throughout the subsequent years. “When there’s a downturn, the number of vacancies shrink, and companies begin to get nervous, workers typically stay put,” she says.

However, there are signs that the cost-of-living crisis this time is leading to more workers shifting around the job market.

Much of this is down to a still-strong availability of open roles. In the UK, although vacancies are in decline, they still outnumber pre-pandemic levels. And in the US, the labour market continues to grow: 497,000 private-sector jobs were added to the economy in June 2023, the biggest monthly rise in a year.

Sarah Moore, head of people and organisation at PwC UK, says the aftermath of the Great Resignation means more employees may consider finding a better salary through a new role than they perhaps would have done before the pandemic. “We’re still seeing elevated quit rates following Covid-19, and pay is typically the main factor for finding a new role: in a time of crisis, people may vote with their feet.”

Many working parents, particularly mothers, are currently doing a cost-of-living-versus-salary calculus as expenses mount. In the UK, the average cost of sending a child younger than age two to nursery for 25 hours a week is £7,729 a year. In January, the US Department of Labor called childcare prices “untenable for families”, even in areas with a lower cost of living.

In some cases, the price of care exceeds many parents’ salaries, meaning it becomes more financially savvy to leave a job and move into a full-time carer role. “Looking at the cost of childcare against your wage and thinking, ‘Is it worth it?’ is nothing new – but it’s now intensifying,” says Melissa Gauge, founder of London-based SpareMyTime, a virtual assistance agency that predominantly employs working mothers.

A luxury to quit?

While the cost-of-living crisis is creating movement in the labour market for some workers, not everyone is able to change roles to put them in a better financial position.

Among the parents whose childcare costs outstrip her hourly earnings is UK-based Tayyaba, who is participating in the Changing Realities project, a collaboration between parents, carers and researchers at the University of York.

An NHS frontline worker, Tayyaba says she’s trapped in her role. “I’m not able to work part time, so three weeks ago I was about to quit. But then [I realised] it would mean that I couldn’t cope with the current crisis: quitting my job is not realistic
It’s just the start of the crisis and I cannot see the light end of the tunnel – Tayyaba
Tayyaba says she feels unable to let her employer know how much she’s struggling from the cost of living, as “they’ll hire someone else”. “Summer holidays are around the corner, and I’m worried how I’m going to manage,” she adds. “It’s just the start of the crisis and I cannot see the light end of the tunnel.”

Quitting may therefore be a luxury for some workers. As an alternative, employees who can’t hop around or drop out of the labour market may instead ask for more pay from their employer as interest rates climb and prices soar, says Moore.

In some cases, employers may rise to the challenge, especially to keep worker attrition rates low. Yet not every employee may get the pay rises they want, adds Moore – after all, companies are struggling with higher costs, too, especially amid inflation.

Some are offering more flexibility in lieu of higher salaries – another factor that may cause movement in the labour market, as workers search for more adaptable roles to help them navigate high cost of living. However, flexibility needs to be more than a token gesture, adds Moore – offering employees a longer lunch hour, for example, doesn’t help someone struggling to pay their rent.

Ultimately, says Moore, “that a quarter of the workforce intends to work for someone else within 12 months shows there are huge issues to address”.

The Great Resignation is 'over'. What does that mean?

A years-long period of record-high quits rocked the workforce in ways we couldn't have imagined. But the mass exodus is done, say experts.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic took hold in 2020, millions of workers have left their jobs.

In the US, 47 million people quit in 2021, and 50 million more in 2022, according to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The continued exodus was so significant that in May 2021, Anthony Klotz, then-associate professor of management at Texas A&M University, coined the term ‘Great Resignation’ to put a name to the trend.

The Great Resignation was unprecedented – and particularly striking against a backdrop of incredible global uncertainty. Now, however, economists say it’s over.

May 2023 numbers from the BLS’s Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) suggest quits have slowed, normalising to pre-pandemic figures. “Looking at the overall resignation numbers, and seeing they’re back to 2019 levels, I think we can say it’s over. It's not just a simple start-and-stop, of course, but it does seem that we're at the tail of it,” says Klotz, now a professor of management at University College London’s School of Management.

One explanation for the changing US resignation numbers, he says, is the impact of the current economic instability on the labour market – something workers quitting throughout the pandemic didn’t grapple with.

“Even if you want to quit your job, you look out at the market [now] and think, ‘maybe I shouldn’t’,” he says. “The economy has slowed down, there's layoffs in the headlines, warnings in the headlines that AI is going to take all of our jobs – it all makes people think twice before they quit a job.”

The falling resignation statistics make sense says California-based Julia Pollak, chief economist at jobs site ZipRecruiter. Many of the people who made a big, one-time career decision are now settled in a new role that they’re holding onto.

From internal summits at ZipRecruiter, and economic data the company has analysed, Pollak says many people shifted from less desirable industries to more sought-after ones – a phenomenon some have described as a ‘Great Reshuffle’. “For example, people who might have been cashiers before, were like, ‘wait a second, I can be a call centre representative from my couch, with my dog at my feet and a TV in the background’. That led to a lot of movement, but it was a one time jump.”

Some people have also stopped quitting, says Klotz, simply because they have less reason to.

“Work for millions of people has gotten better over the last two years,” he says. “Many jobs are more flexible than they were two years ago, in many jobs pay is much fairer than it was pre-pandemic, and in many cases, benefits have been improved. Companies have taken employee wellbeing more seriously over the last couple of years, and invested much more in making their workplaces more inclusive and diverse.”

Some of these changes can be chalked up to companies trying to stem attrition, says Pollak. And there’s evidence to suggest it’s worked. “We're hearing a lot of anecdotal evidence from companies that turnover is normalising,” she says. “They're just having a much easier time holding on to workers.”

In fact, job satisfaction is now higher than it’s been in nearly four decades, according to survey data from the Conference Board, a non-profit think tank that has tracked job satisfaction since 1987. In a late 2022 survey of nearly 2,000 US workers, more than 60% reported being content with their jobs, and some of the most satisfied are those who quit one job for a better one during the pandemic.

“Broadly speaking, employees are actually happier than ever,” says Klotz. “The economy can't explain that as much as the reality that, because of the last couple of years, employers have had to get better. Now you have people who are saying, I'm not quitting my job because my job is actually pretty good.”

But although the big picture shows the Great Resignation may be winding down in general, some industries are still feeling the sting of mass quitting, especially in certain sectors.

“Healthcare, manufacturing, construction – resignation rates in those industries are well above 2019 levels,” says Klotz. “When you say the Great Resignation is over, there’s probably going to be people who are leading healthcare or manufacturing organisations who are still really struggling to find workers or with high turnover.” But a worsening economy might start to lower resignation rates in those industries, too: historically, fewer people quit during economic dips.

Both economists say they’re willing to call the Great Resignation officially over, but Klotz cautions that people will continue quitting in high numbers, relative to pre-pandemic years. “I think it’s important to keep in mind that the resignation rate is still at about the level it was in 2019. Pandemic aside, resignations in 2019 were the highest in the 20 years the Bureau of Labor Statistics has been recording it.”

He adds: “I'd say what comes next is just an unsettled labour market.”

The 'exploding' demand for giant heat pumps

There are 2.5 million litres of water in an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
If for some reason you wanted to bring it from a pleasant 20C to boiling point, German firm MAN Energy Solutions (MAN ES) has a heat pump that could do it. And it would take less time than Kenneth Branagh's film version of Hamlet.
"We can do this in less than four hours," explains Raymond Decorvet, who works in business development at MAN ES. "Or we could freeze the whole thing in about 11 hours."
Theirs is among the largest heat pump units in the world. Heat pumps work by compressing gently warmed refrigerants to raise the temperature of these fluids. That heat can then be passed on to homes or industrial machinery.
Heat pumps require electricity to work but can produce around three or four kilowatt hours of heat for every kilowatt hour of power they consume.
Heat pumps are increasingly popular with some home owners but domestic devices are relatively small and tend to have outputs of several kilowatts or so. MAN ES's biggest commercial heat pump is thousands of times more powerful - with a total heating capacity of 48 megawatts (MW).
It can produce temperatures of up to 150C and heat thousands of homes, not just one. The company recently installed two of these machines in the port city of Esbjerg, in Denmark.
In this installation, the heat pumps' CO2 refrigerant will absorb a small amount of heat from seawater. Compressors boost the temperature of the CO2 and the system can then transfer this heat, providing water of up to 90C to a district heating system serving 27,000 households.

"The demand for district heating is exploding," says Mr Decorvet. An urgency to move away from fossil fuels is leading to a rush - particularly in Europe - for bigger and beefier heat pump systems that can power entire towns. But who has the biggest, megawatts-wise?
It might seem like a relatively straightforward question but it is actually quite tricky to answer definitively. Not least because heat pumps don't tend to work at maximum capacity all the time. In Esbjerg, MAN ES's heat pumps will run at about half their potential output, for instance.
And trying to compare the world's largest heat pump systems is difficult because, often, they are made up of multiple smaller heat pumps chained together. Take the district heating system in Stockholm, Sweden, often referred to as the largest heat pump set-up in the world.
This is probably true, it has a maximum capacity of 215MW - but that total is the sum of seven heat pumps, two 40MW and five 27MW devices, a spokesman for energy provider Stockholm Exergi explains.
Elsewhere in Sweden, Gothenburg has a 160MW heat pump system that consists of four units. Two of them are actually bigger than those in Stockholm, with capacities of 50MW each.
They have been in operation since 1986 and probably hold the title of the most powerful individual heat pumps currently in use, though they are clearly rivalled by newer devices such as those made by MAN ES.
Last year, German chemicals firm BASF and MAN ES announced their intention to build a 120MW heat pump that would, reports suggested, be the world's largest.

It would have provided heat for industrial uses at a site in Ludwigshafen. However, it was not to be. "BASF has decided not to proceed with the project," a spokesman told the BBC. The firm is exploring other potential heat sources instead, which it hopes will be more economically attractive.

Nvidia: The chip maker that became an AI superpower

Shares in computer chip designer Nvidia have soared over the past week, taking the company's valuation above the one trillion dollar mark.
It means it joins tech giants Apple, Amazon, Alphabet and Microsoft in the elite club of $1tn US companies.
The surge was sparked by its latest quarterly results which were released late on Wednesday. The company said it was raising production of chips to meet "surging demand".
Nvidia has come to dominate the market for chips used in artificial intelligence (AI) systems.
Interest in that sector reached frenzied levels after ChatGPT went public last November, which sent a jolt well beyond the technology industry.
From helping with speeches, to computer coding and cooking, ChatGPT has proved to be a wildly popular application of AI.
What is ChatGPT?
What is AI and is it dangerous?
But all that would not be possible without powerful computer hardware - in particular computer chips from California-based Nvidia.
Originally known for making the type of computer chips that process graphics, particularly for computer games, Nvidia hardware underpins most AI applications today.
"It is the leading technology player enabling this new thing called artificial intelligence," says Alan Priestley, a semiconductor industry analyst at Gartner.

"What Nvidia is to AI is almost like what Intel was to PCs," adds Dan Hutcheson, an analyst at TechInsights.
ChatGPT was trained using 10,000 of Nvidia's graphics processing units (GPUs) clustered together in a supercomputer belonging to Microsoft.

The rise of the Gen Z side hustle

Young workers are increasingly chasing multiple jobs and sources of income as they embark on their careers. And it could change the workplace for good.

Shola West, 22, works on the media-partnerships team at advertising firm OMD. She combines her full-time role with a part-time business: providing Gen Z career advice through freelance consultancy work.

West, who is based in London, says her employer is aware – and supportive – of her side hustle. “At my interview, they made it clear I was welcome to have my personal brand on the side. My CEO recently commented on my LinkedIn post saying what I’d done was brilliant, even though it had nothing to do with my full-time job,” she says. “Their openness means it doesn’t feel like a 9-to-5: it’s a job that works with my passions.”

Flexible work arrangements have also enabled West to pursue other passion projects. During working hours, she creates content for her TikTok account, offering insights into the media industry. “Hybrid working has complemented my side hustles,” she says. “It’s when I’m at home in between meetings that I can film videos or work on my business.”

West is one of many young workers who believe a full-time role alone isn’t enough for a fulfilling career. Generational shifts, an uncertain economy and a dynamic workplace situation mean the typical career of a young worker today looks very different than years ago, pre-pandemic.

Gen Z is moving into the workforce in significant numbers: Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data shows there were 21 million employees aged 16 to 24 in the US by July 2022, with the employment rate rising 54.4% year-on-year. And as they age in, the side hustle will likely grow in popularity and acceptance. Over time, pursuing passion projects and multiple streams of income may well prove to be one of the most significant differentiating factors of the youngest generation in the workforce.
