Sewing in Aberdeen Scotland

People thinking when you do fashion shows that it’s easy to do, it’s actually not as simple as you think.

Whenever I travel, I always go wandering around the place, I enjoy seeing new places, trying new food and taking pictures. My travel page will show you otherwise Frances Helena | Nature & Travel Photographer.

Last few years I’ve had been trying to focus on the business, and came came across this in the Aberdeen public library of Scotland.

It has everything! From sewing machines, embroidery locker, threads, buttons, wool, mannequins you name it. FREEE to be used during library hours.

I would come everyday and make some scrunchies, it was really for me to practice sewing at the time.

I wasn’t an expert at sewing, just watch YouTube and see what happens. I also learnt from friends how to sew. I went to fashion school at university in Australia but didn’t like the people, they were mean.

The hardest part about sewing is doing it and making mistakes. Like a designer friend told me “Don’t be afraid to sew”.

In truth, it’s really not hard to sew. What is hard is the creations, that’s a process, time, effort and decisions on how it looks.

Your imagination is your friend, anyone can do this.

Just do it 🤗

How much does sewing cost?

Well let’s go around the shop and show you what we need for sewing!

This is Lincraft in Brisbane, Australia, recently the company closed down Australia wide, which really sucks!

As it is such a great shop! We’ll just have to show you Spotlight, another crafting shop in Australia.

You might even be surprised about cost, let us know in the comments if you’re surprised or not 👇🏽

Pink Parliament Dialogue 2026

This year, I have been honoured to be part of World Femmè Parliament in India.

This particular theme focused on sharing and encouraging love, support, and leadership and empowering women to encourage young ladies and girls to speak up for themselves. To lead by example in whatever they choose to pursue in life, education, careers, you name it.

So the flag you see is the flag of Zambia, which was accidentally put on the video. But coincidencely, it made me think of Aunty Liz (the lady in pink), an empowering community leader and woman who is from Zambia 🇿🇲.

Someone I used to sit on the front porch with and just get advice from, whether it was about relationships, life, work, she'd always have something to say.

Aunty was a community leader, a giver, someone who never gave up, and believed in people.

Before she passed away from cancer in 2018, she said, "Look for me in rainbows." Since I began this journey, it's been hard. I wanted to cry, scream, quit everything, but whenever I'm down, a rainbow appears to me.

I know it's Aunty Liz telling me to keep going.

When I began this journey, I got involved some online platforms such as Vault Empowers which is owned by Steve Harvey. I had the privilege of honouring Aunty Liz for Women's History Month.

Just remember, there's always light at the end of every tunnel.

Love you, Aunty Liz 🕊🇿🇲❤️

Happy Birthday to

So Morgan walked for us at our first international fashion competition back in 2023 for New York Fashion Week. Her husband was also at the show with us!

She truly believed in the brand, and it was our first time doing anything this big, we had no idea what was happening or what we were doing.

But this lady was 100% behind us, I flew out from Australia and coming to another country where you don’t know anyone, experiencing a new culture, and getting into an industry where you constantly have to meet new people, and you have to make it work no matter what, can be overwhelming.

But with Morgan’s support, it just made it a lot easier and less daunting.

So a very Happy Birthday to this lady!

Our research on sustainable fashion

Sustainable fashion is amazing, and it has changed how people think about what they buy.

But what we do is different from what you now know as ‘sustainable fashion’.

A lot of what you know about sustainable fashion is actually how raw materials are processed and recreated into new fabrics such as h**p, organic cotton, tencel, ethics of how to grt wool off sheep without hurting them etc.

What we do is actually reuse the fabric people do not want anymore and turn it into new items.

Quadro Magazine

The tear sheets arrived from .magazine featuring .c2036, , ,

This magazine has us featured in Milan, Italy 🇮🇹 it was such a great day to see different cultures, not just amongst clothing, but amongst models.

For some of them, it was the first time doing a fashion show!

See you all soon!
