True luxury is a feeling, quality doesn’t shout, it speaks…softly. Sometimes it’s a price point…but its always a state of mind. Some people are only comfortable in joggers, others in a 3 piece suit. One may seem anathema to the other but to me looking and feeling good are where I am comfortable, that’s my happy place. With my collar tipped or my waistcoat chequered, it doesn’t matter. The quality in a high thread count of a soft lined hoody or the remarkable water proof technology put into my seemingly classic trench coat, the two go hand in hand, not side by side. My style is both obvious and non-descript. I have been asked where I get my look from…that to me is so strange. You don’t ask people how they learnt their first language or why their shoes are a certain size, they just are. So much time wasted questioning what we are…just be.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There aren’t many things better than those long summer days that stretch into special summer nights. My mood lifted, my life is full of fun. It’s long overdue but yet I welcome it with open arms. My clothes are my celebration, my canvas. Cool graphics, funky prints and tie-dye ensure the blank spaces are filled with intrigue and fun. The same goes for my home. From my cupboards to my towels and my rugs, there’s no fear and zero subtlety. My style is simply just me giving a nod to the sun.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Embrace the mud as much as we embrace the sun. Reconnect, take inspiration from nature. If you look closely enough, the grass is always green and the tallest trees are always the strongest. I’m blessed to be in touch with my natural surroundings, to plan and sculpt my own garden. This wild world around me has a determination and robustness that I desire. Natural linens and textured yarns create interest in even the simplest of shapes. Tactile and forgiving, in colour and style, I appreciate nature and am thankful for my own little section of green amongst the concrete jungle.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Timelessly Refined: Smart and Casual are definitely not mutually exclusive. A meeting at the office or drinks with friends, i’ve got outfits for all occasions. For me, the only indicator I look for is quality; over-thinking is the enemy of simplicity. Sumptuous wools, thin felts, saffiano leathers, enduring and tough denims, materials that last, ageless techniques that modern manufacturing still can’t replicate. My style is refined and timeless, whether it be a conference or a party, I can turn up anywhere, I always fit the bill. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Self Insurance: It is only my approval that I seek, only my taste buds that I please, I do what takes my fancy and i do it whenever I want. No grandiose ethos, no motive, no mission and no agenda. Just good vibes, happy feelings and a whole lot of satisfaction. My plaid shirts, cheeky graphics and loud bling speaks volumes, even my coffee pot is bright red and damn straight my music blares out of my headphones. Its liberating to know I can always rely on me and I’m excited to spend another day in self-assured paradise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
