A huge milestone 🥹 Our work is on show at Institut du monde arabe, part of ‘Vive la mariée’ exhibition 💍🇲🇦🇹🇳🇩🇿

My biggest pride is that this piece was made in Fes, hand in hand with artisans and students from Shems'y part of the AMESIP (Moroccan Association for Aid to Children in Precarious Situations)🥰

Seeing their work at the IMA means everything to me 🥹🥹🥹🥹

🎨’ Hayti découpé, noces dansées – Cinq toiles pour une même joie’

The hayti is a monumental, prestigious wall hanging in velvet or brocade, traditionally embroidered with gold thread. It is the centrepiece of every Moroccan wedding décor. With this piece I wanted to pay tribute to that savoir-faire and reinvent it with Zoubida’s joie de vivre: pop references to Moroccan wedding celebrations, a nod to Amazigh culture, offcuts of vintage brocade given a second life, and, above all, transmission through collective work.

More than 15 angels brought it to life with me:

MOROCCO DESIGN it’s a wrap! 💖✨✨
Sooo grateful to be one of the lucky Moroccan artists taking part in this very first edition 🇲🇦 THANK YOU 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐢 for believing in us 🫶🏽

For the occasion, we took our pillars to a whole new level. Meet our joyful totems: our most collectible design pieces yet 💖💜💛💚💙🍭

‘What Holds Us Together’ is a true love letter to Fès craftsmanship. Every column is made entirely by hand by magician artisans, alongside students in Fès, using vintage brocade I’ve been collecting for years 🤍

These fabrics once lived horizontally on the sedari where families have gathered for generations: tea after tea, guest after guest, story after story. Now they rise. Brocade from many homes is stacked, mixed and built upward into something new. (Yes, they look like giant candy sticks 🍬)

My new favourite shape :) It is a long straight coat with a shirt collar. The fabric is ideal: thin (i know, you have been all asking for it!) but also structured with a bit of shine.

I find the shape beyond elegant. I worn it at a wedding last month - a true show stopper ✨

The skirt is also available. It is in the same fabric but a different motif. Mix & Match passion ❤️‍🔥

One of the jacket I wear the most on a daily basis! The cut is so easy, the fabric is light, the shape is boxy yet elegant.

I use this fabric in a lot of my art pieces 🎨 as it carries real history!
It’s called Tarz el Fassi, from Fes. A tribute to the embroidery of the same name, over 10 centuries old.

I wear it usually opened, but I love how feminine it becomes when belted at the waist 💅🏼

What my life looks like when I work in Fes 🤲🏽💖🕊️✨

Focus of the month: a new fun piece for a museum in Paris 🤫

Here again, I chose to bring students from the ‘school of second chance’ Shems'y into the work with me 🥰💫🤸🏽‍♀️

I get doubts every day on the adventure I’ve built, but this was the best reminder of why 🤲🏽🥹 This is what ZOUBIDA is really about for me: the joy of a collective spirit, of bringing people up with me, opening doors along the way… 🕊️

Because what’s the point of making something beautiful if you make it alone?

Sooo happy to finally unveil our collaboration ♥️♥️♥️
We played. We dreamt big. This is what happened 🤸🏽‍♀️

Six monumental symbols from a spontaneous imagined alphabet, built by hand 👋🏾 dressed in a twelve-century-old jacquard tradition.
