I added the Ten Cross Stitch, also known as Jujizashi.

I used blue thread, but you could choose any colour you like. I marked out my grid, threaded my needle and off I went sewing 🪡

There’s something really lovely knowing I've put my own time and care into it and that no one else has one quite like this🤍

It wasn't about learning a new craft.
It was about discovering something I think many of us are quietly missing💙
Space to slow down 🐌

To step away from screens, endless to-do lists and the pace of London life. To spend a couple of hours doing something beautifully simple with your hands.

The gentle rhythm of stitching has a way of quietening the mind. There's no pressure to be perfect. No expectation to be "creative." Just the calming repetition of one stitch after another 🪡

As I learned more about sashiko, I fell in love with its philosophy too. Originally created to mend and strengthen treasured clothing, it's a craft rooted in care rather than consumption, in making things last rather than replacing them.

Those values feel more relevant than ever.

That's why B Boheme isn't simply about teaching sashiko.

It's about creating slow, welcoming experiences where London women can pause, breathe, meet like-minded people, and reconnect with themselves and others through mindful making.

Yes, you'll leave with something beautiful you've stitched by hand.

But my hope is you'll leave with something even more valuable...

A calmer mind, a lighter heart, and the reminder that slowing down isn't a luxury, it's something we all deserve. 🤍
