Stripped down to summer-weight linen, wear the linen jacket on its own from now until September 15th, perfect to throw over a vest and your gold chain when it gets slightly chilly on the beach, and then in Autumn it comes into its own once more as a midlayer, under a long topcoat, maybe a balmacaan, if you’re searching eBay listings right now, keeping it in check.
