There’s many reasons I never reach for synthetic fabrics when I’m designing for pregnancy, it’s not just that they are biodegradable, softer on the skin and age better, it’s also because they are breathable and allow the skin to regulate its temperature easier. Hotter summers mean it’s something worth investing in from day one.

Cotton, linen, natural blends, they breathe when your body can’t cool itself because when you’re pregnant your body is already working at a higher temperature.

It’s easy to think about it in the middle of a heatwave and forget it the moment it passes but natural fibres deliver that whatever the weather.

I’ve been quiet on here this summer, Being pulled in many directions all at once, I’m sure you’re feeling it too.

Somehow the washing pile never seems to end, between the mess and the constant needs that need meeting, I don’t seem to have been able to catch a break. This little app has had to have a little less of me for the moment.

I’m sorry for that, not because of the algorithm but for connecting with real people.

But look what I’ve been sitting on…

This one has her in the Poppy dress in check from my collection. Looking simply effortless, she has captured the essence of my brand perfectly and I’m so honoured to have been part of her pregnancy journey and wardrobe!

Sometimes running a small sustainable brand looks more like this.

Sometimes I need to slow down.
My business is all about living meaningful, purposefully and slowly, appreciating things. so sometimes I have to take some time away from this busy crazy platform and slow down myself.

I have loved spending time outside with my family, getting lost in the wilderness, stargazing, wild swimming and feeling the sand between my toes.

Yes, I am still here handwriting every note that goes out with every hand wrapped order and I do still appreciate you every penny you choose to spend with me and I want to support you within your own journeys too.

But sometimes motherhood means it’s too hard to juggle all the energy and noise this app creates. But I am still here behind the screen creating real memories, real change and real pieces to live in.

So if you want to support another Mother running a small local business making things with purpose and slowly appreciating life and all it has to offer then buy from me. Someone creating a space for beautiful things that you will treasure forever.

Pack an order with me.
Every single order that leaves here is wrapped by me, by hand. At my kitchen table, usually with a child somewhere nearby.

When I send every dress out, I really do send it with so much love. I usually try to reach out to every customer via message, and I love finding out who each of my pieces is going to. I feel, with my whole body, the place you are at in your journey — because I have been there. I have felt that exact moment. So I really do know the difference wearing one of my pieces can make.

When you buy from a small business, this is what you are actually buying. Not just a dress, but the hours that went into designing it, the care that goes into making it, the thought in every little part of the process.

My pieces are designed by a mother who has lived every stage they are made for. The bump that never fits standard sizing. The cluster feeds. The postpartum body that needs kindness, not a “bounce back.” Every choice in these dresses was made because I needed it myself and it did not exist.

That is something no algorithm and no factory line can replicate. It is slower, more considered. It is made by someone who genuinely cares whether you feel beautiful in it.
