Só Dança is bringing Laura Burity to Ballet Boutique London for a very special Alina Fitting Day! 🩰✨

Laura is a Brazilian pointe shoe fitting specialist, researcher and educator with over ten years of experience. She is the founder of Nas Pontas, author of A Journey Through Fitting, and has assessed the feet of more than 5,000 dancers throughout her career.

Her work brings together science, education and extensive practical experience, always guided by one essential principle: the pointe shoe must adapt to the dancer’s foot, never the other way around.

Laura has worked closely with Só Dança on educational content and on the development and presentation of the Alina pointe shoe. Now, this partnership is coming to Ballet Boutique London for an exclusive day of personalised Alina fittings.

Each dancer will have the opportunity to learn more about her feet, experience the Alina and find the most suitable combination of size and width for her individual needs.

Pointe shoe fitting is not as easy as you think. 🩰 We are on a pointe shoe journey with Amber, and she definitely challenged me a lot! But it looks like we finally found the right way to make this fitting successful. 🥳

She has two completely different feet: one foot is longer and super compressible, while the other is almost 2 sizes shorter, more curly, and slightly twisted in shape. Because of that, we ended up needing two different sizes to give her the best support and alignment possible. 💅

Here is the final look, and she looks absolutely stunning, supported, and confident. ✨
