It's been six 6 years since we decided to continue the shop without our dad. He kept the business going for 40 years, that kind of longevity is just not something you find anymore.

We have seen a lot of our neighbours, struggle to keep their businesses going and every day it seems to get more difficult with rising costs.

Thank you to all our customers both old and new for being so supportive. Thank you for keeping our old shop going as we try to keep your old shoes going. 👞🔨

Our sign is old and knackered but its message has never been important.

Getting a spare key costs less than a pint in today's society and could save you a lot of headache and money.

•Average locksmith call out price £75

•Another £85 for them to change the lock

•Then you're going to have to get spares cut anyway as they will more than likely only give you 2/3 keys.

All for a process that usually cost £5 and takes 3 minutes.

Smart Phone... Dumb camera or maybe I just don't know how 😂😂.

But what's really the important part is you remember to take care of your beloved shoes. Shoe cream will treat the leather and keep the colour looking fresh.

A web designer I am not... Clearly.

But for the longest time now I have heard if you want an e-commerce website then you need to be on Shopify.

So after weeks of frustrating product migrations and moving the websites across. We're set up on our new website, sure there is a lot more tweaking that is needed.

If anyone else is an experienced Shopify user please message and tell us your opinion on it.

Can you afford not to take care of your shoes?

Especially with leather shoes they are prone to crack and dry out over time (just like skin).

Although our entire business is built on repair, not all repairs are possible but prevention might be.

Just like us, shoes need creams and moisturiser too, making them less likely to crack or lose colour.
