Anthropology Research Scholars Forum was established on 19th October 2016 with the need to sensitize the importance and relevance of Anthropology in North East India and the country as a whole. Objectives of ASF are as follows:
1) To sensitize people about the importance of the discipline and its application in different aspects of human lives.
2) To persuade colleges in Meghalaya to establish Dep

t. In due course, it is expected to achieve the same in other states of North-east India.
3) To publish research works, organize seminars, workshops, debates, and discussions for exchange of ideas and dissemination of knowledge.
